During my recovery, Charles stayed by my side constantly, as if we were back to the loving days we once had.

“Vicky, I’m sorry!” Charles said as he supported me.
Tracy stepped forward with an apologetic look, “Vicky, I have an important event next week, I can’t afford to get injured. Please don’t blame Charles, alright?”
Charles was just worried about his fiancée’s appearance–what’s wrong with that?

Without saying anything, Charles picked me up and rushed me home, telling his assistant to call the private doctor.
