Lucian’s POV
“You! You did this. You killed my baby. What- what did I ever do to you, I loved you, Lucian but you took everything away from me, everything! I hate you so much. I hate you
“Lucian” I look up to see Liora pout at me. “Did you hear what I was saying?”
“That you are happy to be alive and you can not believe Elara tried to polson you” I say causally, my eyes focus on nothing in particular, I am not really listening, my facking mind keeps replying the work from earlier.
She was pregnant? I killed our child!
My heart feels stuffy when I think about it. What is the feeling! I don’t like it. I shouldn’t care about what happens to her, she tried to poison Liora. her own sister because of her jealousy so she deserves it
But what is this I am feeling! I shake my head and try to call out to Theron but once again I am met with complete silence. Ever since what happened yesterday. Theron has completely cut off contact with me, I can’t access him- I know he is there but I can’t feel him.
He is upset, hun but he should get over it.
“How are you feeling!” I ask Liora who smiles sadly. “I am fine but you should check up on Elara. I heard what happened, you must be hurt.
I do not say anything. I tell myself that she doesn’t deserve my presence but I know that it is the fact I do not have the gues to see her right now, after all I doubt she wants to see me.
After 1 rejected her, 1 made her stay in the pack house with the excuse of her teaching Liora her duties as Luna but the real truth is because Theron did not want to let her leave and strangely enough, neither did I so I made her stay, watched her serve Liora
But it didn’t matter, Liora is now her Luna so she should obey everything
“She is fine don’t worry about her Immediately I said those words, Elijah burst inside the room. I look at him slightly angry at the disrespect
“Sorry to disturb you, Alpha” He apologizes, keeping his head down. “But Elara has escaped”
My hands tightens by my sides, all the words I want to say feel stuck in my throat. “What did you just say?”
“Elara has escaped, we think she is heading outside the borders
It takes a moment for me to take in the news, my eyes narrow as I watch my bera shift uncomfortably from my gaze
“Find her, do everything to bring her back to me. Alive”

“Lucian, where are you going?” Liora’s hand shoots out to hold mine, I push her hands away without sparing her a glance before walking out
I walk out of the hospital and arrive at my study. I throw whatever that comes into my sight, destroying once–furnished study. Why am 1 mad? 1 don’t know. Hell, it must be the fact she is trying to escape from me after poisoning Liora,
She should be punished, when she is brought back, I am going to make her regret all her actions.
“Theron, answer me!” I command in my Alpha voice but there isn’t any reply,
I let out a frustrated sigh and sat on the chair, pouring myself a glass of whiskey while I waited. I am uncomfortable, her absence makes me uncomfortable. Etake a swing of whiskey and watch as time flies with a frown
An hour goes by and there is finally a knock on the door.

answer, my eyes narrowing at the door, expecting to see her walk through the door, expecting to see those brown eyes stare at me. Fuck I would do anything to see thour eyes.

“Where Is She” My voice is dangerous. No one walks in and

“Where is Elira, Elijah! Did you lose her!” I tower over him, my figure is huge compared to his. He meets my eyes and explains.

1 raise my eyebrow at the mention of the very name I despise. The name of the only man who has the power to mal my pack, the man who can go head to head with me and survive.

“Alpha of the Crimson Shadow pack?” When he nods, I grab him by the neck, watching his eyes widen in horror
“You let him take her!!”
“No, Alpha. He wouldn’t let us take her. He says she is his mate” My jaw drops and I let go of his neck
“Mate!” I ask and watch as Elijah nods. That is impossible. How can he be her mate? I pace around the room. So many questions run through my mind at once as I try to think.
How can the be mated to my rival pack, that vile snake? Does that mean she belongs to him now? How dare she, the thought of him having her makes my blood run cold, and a dark fury courses through my veins.
I come to an abrupt stop, turning to face Elijah before walking to him, my chest heaving with every breath. I don’t know why I am feeling this way- This urgency and the feeling of loss that is clawing at me. But one thing is crystal clear–I need her back. Theron needs her back.
