I gently massaged his shoulders. He closed his eyes in contentment, his lips curved in a soft smile.
It seemed like he had fallen asleep.
I carefully moved to leave, but his Adam’s apple shifted as he spoke, “Luna, do you know what will happen if you leave now?”
I froze in place, and before I could react, he had stepped out of the bathtub and was lifting me into it.
The warm steam surrounded us like a mist, and he kissed me fiercely, his voice cold and sharp as he demanded, “Luna, after everything, you still don’t recognize me?”

I struggled, but he quickly removed the last of my clothing.
Face to face, he finally spoke, “Your first time shouldn’t have been given to that piece of trash.”
The pain of my first time was fleeting, replaced by the ecstasy this man brought me, lifting me to heaven.
As I touched his shoulder, I noticed a long scar that resembled a burn, running across his back like the imprint of a centipede.
It seemed like a burn scar.
I gently traced it, but he pressed harder against me, his voice hoarse as he asked, “Do you remember, Luna?”
I had no idea what he wanted me to

remember.
But everything that happened tonight, I would never forget.
I escaped Nevo’s villa at four in the morning. As I glanced at my phone, Fred’s message popped up.
The photo showed him lying naked next to a woman, fully made up, cuddling under the same blanket.
I figured it was the lead actress from the movie Fred had invested in.
Then, she sent me a one–minute video through Fred’s account.
Tears streamed down my face. Fred had betrayed me.

Not just once. For four years, I had turned a blind eye to the countless women surrounding him.
I let out a bitter laugh. But it didn’t matter. Tonight, I had my revenge.
I hadn’t slept all night, and the makeup artist had already arrived. I sat in front of the mirror, staring at my weary reflection, feeling utterly lifeless.
Fred called me, his voice on the line
frantically explaining yesterday’s photos and videos, stumbling over his words in a way that was almost laughable.
“Luna, those photos and videos were just a prank by the guys. Don’t take them seriously; you can tell they were fake.”
I responded coldly, “Didn’t you say you were

at home last night, asleep early?”
“Yeah, Luna, the guys came over late, saying they wanted to throw me a bachelor party.. I really didn’t want to deal with them, but who would’ve thought they’d use my phone to send out that weird stuff? Don’t take it seriously. You know how good my buddies. are with IT; they can create any kind of photo or video in minutes.”
“So, it was all just a prank?” I asked again.
“Yeah, they swapped faces.”
I forced a laugh and said, “I almost thought about reporting you for sharing inappropriate videos.”
“Luna, I can’t wait to marry you. I’ll see you soon.”‘

was a rose–cut masterpiece that Fred had carefully selected.
He was planning this extravagant wedding down to the last detail. To everyone else, he seemed to dote on me, and I had somehow found my way into the high society of the Garner Family.
The wedding was set in a coastal castle, the very palace I had always dreamed of for a fairytale wedding.
I had once believed this was the beginning of a prince and princess story, but now, all it had brought me was disappointment.
