Griffin, seemingly unable to control his temper and desires, unbuckled his belt and chased after Mr. Newton, striking him.
“Bastard! Who told you to run! Kneel before me and lick my toes!”
“You dare run? I’ll beat you to death today!”
In a moment of carelessness, Mr. Newton was struck on the back with the whip. His steps quickened as he stumbled and crawled down the stairs.
“Security! Security!”
He screamed as he ran, but unfortunately, the music from the party was too loud, and

A few waiters tried to intervene, only to be struck by Griffin’s belt as well. No one was willing to risk their lives for a few thousand dollars, so they retreated and became mere onlookers.
The once gossiping noblewomen were now startled by the scene. However, as Griffin lost his belt, his trousers slipped down as he descended the stairs, revealing his tight white briefs beneath.
That grotesque sight stood erect.
The most horrifying part was that he was chasing after a man–a man over fifty years old!
Whispers began to circulate about the

Just then, Mr. Newton returned with security, and upon seeing Griffin lying motionless, his heart sank.

Hope, her lips still oozing blood, her eyes rimmed red with tears, looked every bit the picture of victim–hood.
The onlookers couldn’t help but feel sympathy.
One of the noblewomen who had previously gossiped could no longer hold back.

Although Hope lacked manners and etiquette, she had been abandoned since childhood, without parents, and it was no surprise that she had not been properly raised.
For the Newton family to have found her and yet not properly nurture or pamper her–how could they be so cruel?

“She’s been beaten to the point of vomiting blood! Why not go to the hospital first? What’s the use of going home?”

The doctor treated Hope’s injuries, and when it came time to pay, Hope realized he hadn’t even covered her medical expenses.
But she could guess his intentions. Since his plan to send her to Griffin had failed, and he hadn’t killed her on the spot, it was already a stroke of luck. How could he possibly pay for
her treatment?
Hope paid the bill and kept the receipt. All of this would be repaid.
As she had originally planned to take a taxi, she suddenly remembered the message Easton had sent her earlier.
She sent Easton her location.
