Chapter 45: Sending the
Scoundrels a Bitter Blow
Four hours later, Brother Tiger and his men, barely able to catch their breath and enduring various pains all over their bodies, struggled to get up. Looking at their former comrades, they were filled with such hatred that they almost wanted to kill them all.
At that moment, Brother Tiger’s phone buzzed with a new message. He opened it to find it was from his employer, Daisy.
[Daisy: What the hell? This is disgusting! What’s going on?]
Brother Tiger scrolled up and saw the compromising photos and messages of his men. He nearly passed out in rage!

[Brother Tiger. You filthy bitch! You dare to set me up? If I ever find out who you are, I’ll make sure you have a miserable death!]
Meanwhile, in a hotel in S City, Sylvia had just landed and checked into her room. Eager to check her secondary Twitter account, she opened it to see a stream of disgusting photos. She was hoping to find something related to Hope, but after forcing herself to view each image, she only saw a group of men engaged in shameful acts!
Some of them even looked like they had defecated.
Sylvia rushed to the bathroom, vomiting and feeling dizzy. She was furious as she sent a message demanding an explanation.
When the response finally came, she realized she had missed an important line in the

previous message.
“People have all been taken care of. These photos are for sale, and from now on, they’ll serve you for free. You’ll save a lot of money.”
Sylvia reread the message several times, finally understanding that she had been tricked by Hope.
Hope had intentionally added that line to make Brother Tiger think she had orchestrated the entire setup.
[Daisy: I didn’t set you up! Don’t let that woman fool you!]
[Brother Tiger. Bitch, you think I’ll buy your lies? If you hadn’t teamed up with that woman, how could she have carried the drugs on her?]

[Brother Tiger. I knew it! She knew someone was following, yet she purposely ran into an alley, then quietly followed us when she knew what we were planning. You two were clearly in it together! I should’ve known it was all your plan! Bitch, if I find out who you are, you’ll regret it!]
The messages flooded in, each one filled with curses. Sylvia’s anger flared up. She had always been the darling of the family, treated like royalty by the Newtons, and adored by everyone.
Hope had already crossed her, but now this group of lowlifes dared to insult her too!
Sylvia’s malice grew. With her father and brothers backing her up, she had no fear of these trashy men.
[Daisy: Keep talking like that, and I’ll post

these photos online! Your friends, family, and enemies will all enjoy the show!]
[Daisy: Even if I was the one who set you up, so what? If you don’t want to become the laughingstock of the world, you’d better do as I say. Get the job done, and I’ll still pay you. But if you fail, prepare for your humiliation to hit the news!]
[Brother Tiger. You think I care about those photos? Wait until I see that little bitch again. I’ll kill her first, then I’ll take care of you!]
Sylvia’s mind began to churn with a wicked plan. If she could make them hate Hope, they would stop at nothing to get back at her.
With her brothers protecting her, she didn’t have to worry about any retaliation. Once Hope was gone, she would play the good

girl and let her brothers send these men to prison, maybe even have them executed!
After making up her mind, Sylvia transferred the ten thousand that Hope had sent her back to them.
[Daisy: We’ll see about that. I thought someone like you would be smarter.]
[Daisy: The situation has already happened. Now, the only thing you can do is obey me. Once this is over, I’ll make sure you live the good life. If you dare resist, I’ll make you the joke of the entire country!]
In a warehouse, Brother Tiger looked at the ten thousand dollars in his hands, his fists clenched. All he knew was the person’s online alias, and he had no way of tracking them down.

He could submit for now, but once he found out who Daisy really was, he would repay today’s humiliation tenfold!
He took the money, silently accepting the transaction.
Sylvia smiled smugly. These lowlifes were so cheap, a mere ten thousand could turn them into her servants, swallowing their pride to do her bidding!
Hope, unaware of all this, had just finished her meal on the street. Checking the time, she figured it was about time. Using the small app she’d created to hide her phone number and IP address, she made the call to the police.
By the time Brother Tiger and his men were about to get dressed, they were already caught red–handed.

They were no strangers to the police. Though they loudly protested that they’d been tricked by a girl, the authorities simply assumed they had tried to use drugs on the girl, only to end up drugged themselves. To protect the girl’s identity, the police didn’t dig too deep.
As for the caller’s identity, the police received so many anonymous tip–offs like this that they didn’t think much of it. They just treated it as the work of a concerned citizen.
Meanwhile, Hope waited for the car Mrs. Knapp had sent to pick her up.
An hour later, Hope arrived at Flourish Garden, the luxurious villa community where Mrs. Knapp–lived. The name symbolized flourishing ratings, thriving acting careers, and enduring stage success–a fitting haven

for those in the entertainment industry.
Flourish Garden was an exclusive enclave reserved for celebrities, directors, and other high–profile figures.
Renowned for its impeccable privacy and pristine environment, it was home to nearly half of the industry’s most influential names.
The driver took Hope straight into Mrs. Knapp’s underground parking garage. As soon as she stepped out of the car, a housekeeper greeted her and led her upstairs via the private elevator.
When she entered the lobby, she was surprised to see Mrs. Knapp sitting with a graceful woman. Hope instantly recognized her. it was the famous agent, Iris!

friends.
Mrs. Knapp stood up, slightly embarrassed. “I’m sorry, Miss Hope. I couldn’t come to meet you in person because of my condition.”
“It’s fine, you should rest during your pregnancy,” Hope replied with a smile.
“Is it really you?” Iris stood up as well, her eyes wide with disbelief as she examined Hope from head to toe.
Mrs. Knapp had mentioned that Hope was a young girl, but Iris hadn’t expected her to be the same Hope who had recently made. waves on the trending topics!
Hope, slightly surprised, nodded. She never thought someone like Iris, a top agent, would remember her, considering she had only

been in the public eye a few times.
“I saw your medical license on the trending page. Is it real?” Iris asked.
“Of course it’s real, but I didn’t bring it with me today,” Hope answered calmly.
“Which medical school did you attend? Who was your teacher?” Iris pressed.
“I didn’t attend a medical school. My teacher is just a village doctor” Hope responded indifferently.
Iris frowned, “So you didn’t attend medical school, yet you have a medical license…”
She had to reassess Hope. This didn’t add up. Could Hope have some powerful background to secure such a certificate through connections?

Iris glanced between Mrs. Knapp and Hope.
“Knapp, you’re the one who helped Hope get into the reality show, right?” Iris finally guessed.
Mrs. Knapp, slightly surprised, nodded. “I didn’t mention it?”
Iris sighed, “I should’ve known. You’re a bit slow–witted after your pregnancy. You never told me it was Hope who helped you with your baby’s protection.”
“It’s fine. I didn’t tell you. You figured it out yourself, didn’t you?” Mrs. Knapp replied with a smile.
