In silence, Clara thought, ‘Mr. Galloway, if you hadn’t quickened your steps downstairs, I’m almost convinced that you’re not in raptures!
Watching Julian almost rushing downstairs, Clara couldn’t help rolling her eyes at him.
Meanwhile, he had reached the living room but had no sight of Rosalie at all. This made the slight curve on his lips straight up again.
