“I only studied up to fourth grade in elementary school. My middle and high school years weren’t typical either. I finished seventh to ninth grade in a year, spent two years with the troop, and then completed high school in two years before enrolling directly at the National Academy.”
I was stunned. “Holy shit. You’re a genius.”
He chuckled modestly. “No, I was just lucky enough to be born with advantages and privileges.”
