Chapter 136
Chapter 136
I pointed at my petulant asshole of a father. “Arrest Harry Jones, officers! He has committed multiple white
and more! Here’s some of the proof…
collar crimes, including contract fraud, tax evasion, money laundering
“I would also like to clarify to the IRS that this man, Harry Jones, is the true culprit behind Harbringer Inc.’s tax evasion schemes. I have ample evidence to prove he committed fraud and shifted his legal responsibilities onto others!”
I handed over every important document and financial report. It was more than enough to prove my innocence.
The agents recognized me. “Ah, it’s you again, Miss Jones! This is impressive… You’ve managed to solve the case within a day!”
I smiled. “Why, of course! This concerns my innocence and reputation, after all.”
The office fell quiet as the police and IRS agents skimmed through the documents. Then, suddenly, Harry shoved everyone around him and made a run for the door.
“Don’t even think about it!” a police officer yelled, tackling him to the floor immediately. The handcuffs clicked into place.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck! I didn’t do anything wrong! This ingrate of a daughter framed me! Fuck!” Harry screamed.” You’re just like your mother! You bitches just can’t accept seeing me happy! I should have fucking strangled you when you were a baby!”
“Sir, are you seriously threatening another citizen under our watch?” the police officer who arrested him retorted, dragging Harry up from the floor. “Are you looking for more crimes to commit while you’re at it?”
Cameron’s knees buckled, and she collapsed onto the floor.
“Hey, what’s wrong, Mrs. Jones?” I cooed with feigned concern. “I thought you wanted me to grovel at your feet. Why are you the one doing it now?”
She was still reeling from the shock.
The law was no longer on her side.
Panting, she turned to me and suddenly grabbed my pants cuff. “He’s your father, Taylor! You can’t do this to your own father–we’re a family! You can’t be this cruel! I’ve just lost Maddison… How can you make me lose him too?!

I struggled to free myself, but it was futile. I looked to the security guards, who immediately rushed over to pull
her away.
“To be honest? I actually wanted to give both of you a real chance. But I heard you scheming for my downfall and death, and that chilled any goodwill I had left.
“You were supposed to be my parents… And this is what you were plotting? Between us, I think you deserve hell far more than I do!” I said, my voice sharp.
“No! It was just something impulsive we said out of anger! We just wanted to teach you a lesson! It wasn’t that serious!”
“You really think I’d believe your bullshit?!” Years of rage filled my chest. “You helped Maddison steal my partner and my wedding. Both of you should have expected this to happen when you made that grave mistake! You brought this on yourselves–whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad!”
“You can’t do this!” she cried. “You can’t do this! Maddie’s already dead… All of that is over!”

Chapter 136
I wished I could hand her a inirror so she could retch at her ogly, pathetic face.
Harry, still holding onto his bluster, shouted, “Oi, I’m friends with the fucking mayor, you dickheads! I can make all of you lose your fucking jobs if I want to!”
