After a brief pause, Lola slowly asked, “Would you be able to lower the price just a little more? I honestly don’t have that much money on me.”

“I’m sure you’ll take up the General Manager’s position once you become the largest shareholder. If nothing goes wrong with the company’s operations, you should be able to recover your 8,000,000–dollar investment in two years, at most.
“On top of that, you’ll be the first in your family to become truly wealthy, owning all these companies, while my cousins and your children–will inherit your wealth.
“They’ll have so much money, they’ll be able to marry anyone they want. I’m sure there will be plenty of suitors lining up to ask for their hand. Once you combine your wealth with theirs, your entire family will be the richest in the world!” I replied.
I couldn’t help but give myself a mental pat on the back for my Oscar–worthy performance.
I wondered when exactly I had turned into this person.
Had becoming the boss of my own company automatically turned me into someone who could brainwash and gaslight others?
After my convincing spiel, Lola started laughing. “I suppose you’re right. You’ve always had a knack for foresight. Alright then, let’s do this! When do we sign the agreement?

I didn’t want to give her any chance to regret her decision, so I immediately said, “Let’s do it tomorrow, Monday. We’ll meet at my office at 9:00 a.m. to sign the agreement in front of all the shareholders. While we’re at it, I’ll announce the position change during the annual general meeting.‘

I hung up and burst into laughter.

I had finally turned the tables on the Jones family after years of torment!
Now, it was no longer my concern if Harry wanted to take back the company once he got out of jail.
He could go screw himself, along with his brothers and sisters, for all I cared.
The next day, I arrived at Harbinger Inc. right on time at 9:00 am.
Without a hitch, we signed the share transfer agreement, and Lola transferred the 8,000,000 dollars to me on the spot.
A huge weight lifted off my shoulders when I saw the money hit my account.
Standing up with a smile, I said, “Congratulations, Aunt Lola. Harbinger Inc. is officially yours now.”
