I didn’t understand what was happening when Ryan grabbed my hand and basically dragged me from the backyard. I was having a fun time with Emily and her friends before he came. I could feel sparks all through my body when he touched me, just like I did when he shook my hand earlier in the day. I asked him if he was alright.
“I, Ryan Davis, Reject you, Violet Easton, as my Mate and Future Luna.” My chest hurt, and I fell to the ground from the pain. I didn’t understand what was going on with me. Why was I feeling so much pain after he said those words? I didn’t know what he was talking about.
“Are you okay, Honey,” Emily’s mom asked and helped me to my feet.
“I don’t feel well,” I said. I was feeling light–headed and almost fell to the ground, but Emily’s dad quickly held onto me, ensuring I didn’t fall.
“Are you okay, Violet,” Emily asked as she walked toward me.
“I am fine. I must be coming down with something,” I said. Emily and her parents stared into space for a few minutes, then looked at me.
“We need to take her to lie down,” Her mom said
“You two go ahead. I have a few words I need to say to Ryan,” Emily’s dad said and walked away, Hearing Ryan’s name made me feel pain in my chest. I felt he betrayed me with those

words when he told me he had rejected me, and I didn’t want to see him.
“Are you sure you are alright?” Emily asked as she walked into
her room.
“Yes. Where is Sofia?” I asked worriedly. I hadn’t seen her since I started feeling sick.
“My mom is watching her,” Emily said. Then, Emily’s door opened unexpectedly, causing me to flinch. Ryan walked inside and looked at me.
“Violet, I am so sorry for what I said to you today,” Ryan said and walked towards me. “How are you feeling?” he asked. I could see him extending his hand to touch me, but I pushed his hand away from mine.
“Don’t touch me,” I said angrily. I could see a frown appear on his face.
“I am so sorry. Please forgive me, Baby.”
“Baby,” I thought. “My name is Violet.” I was upset and didn’t want to see or talk to him. Before he could say anything else, Emily walked over.
“Ryan, you need to leave. Look at what you did to her,” Emily said. He looked at me for a moment. I knew he was going to say something, but Emily spoke first. “Leave Ryan. Before you make things worse.”
Ryan nodded and walked towards the door. Before he walked out, he looked at me. “I am going to make this up to you. I promise. I, Ryan Davis take back my Rejection and Accept you, Violet Easton, as my Mate and Luna,” Then he walked out,

I still felt some pain, but after Ryan’s words of accepting me, it wasn’t as bad as before. I still didn’t want to talk to him, though. I wasn’t sure if I would ever like to be around him again.

Ryan’s POV
I felt terrible. Why would I reject my Mate over something Jane had told me? I knew she wanted to be my Luna, and after telling her, I would make her my chosen Mate and then taking it back, I should have known Jane would try to make me reject Violet after I told her she was my Mate.
“Ryan Baby. I saw what happened between you and Violet today. I wanted to say I am so sorry you had to go through that, but now that you rejected Violet, you can make me your Luna and Mate,” Jane said and tried to touch my chest, but I pushed her hand away from me.

Emily told me Violet never met Tyson. How could she flirt with someone she has never met before?” I growled, causing Jane to pale. “Don’t have anything to say now, do you?” I said
“Ryan, I,” Jane started, but I cut her off.
“I want you to stay the fuck away from me. I am done with you and don’t know what I saw in you, to begin with. All I want is my Mate, and I promise you I will win her back. If you try to get in my way, you will regret it,” I said and walked away.
I walked into the kitchen to see my mom and dad. They both began to glare at me as soon as I stepped inside.
“I know, mom and dad. I messed up,” I said
“How could you do that to your Mate? You rejected her because you thought she had a daughter? I raised you better than that. Even if Sofia was her father, it shouldn’t have mattered. It isn’t like you waited for her before you messed with a female,” my mom scowled. I knew she was right. It was wrong of me to reject Violet. Even if Sofia was her daughter, I shouldn’t have done that.
“I know mom, and I plan on making it up to her,” I replied
“Let’s hope you can make this right,” My mom said and walked out of the kitchen, leaving me alone with my dad.
