Ryan’s POV
When I woke up, I tried to figure out what I could do to win my Mates heart and trust. I knew the first thing I needed to do was prove to Violet that I accepted Sof. I needed her to see i knew Sof would always be a big part of her life, and I wanted to also be a part of Sof’s life.
I decided taking Violet and Sof to the amusement park would be a good idea. I was sure they both would love it, and I would also be able to show Violet I accept Sof being in our lives. It was four in the morning, and I needed to get ready to for training. I would watch over the Pack to see who showed potential as a good warrior and would also help those who needed it.
Every morning all the Pack Members, twelve and older, would train at five in the morning. It was important for the younger members to prepare for their first shift and make sure their bodies were strong enough to handle the shift.
Most werewolves first shifted at the age of fifteen, but I shifted first when I was thirteen because of my Alpha blood. Most werewolves with Alpha blood shift a few years earlier than other werewolves. I got out of bed and headed to the restroom to shower before leaving for the training field.
I couldn’t help but check in on Violet as I walked past her bedroom door. I opened her door and saw Violet and Sof still sleeping peacefully. I wished Violet was sleeping beside me in our bed instead of in the next room. But I knew she would be

next to me soon. I knew I needed to head up to the tenth floor, which my parents had made for me back when I was eighteen for when I met my Mate. It was like an apartment with a kitchen, living room, dining room, and three bedrooms. I never went up there because it was always a reminder that I didn’t have my Mate. Now that Violet was here, I wanted her to fix it up how she liked, but I knew I needed to go slow with her and prove myself before moving us onto our floor.
I closed her bedroom door and left for the training field.
When I made it to the training field, I watched all the younger warriors train. I was happy because most of them showed great potential to become good warriors. Everyone was in age groups. Their twelve to fourteen year olds were in a group. Fifteen to seventeen year olds were in another group; the last group was eighteen and up.
“Hey, bro,” Emily said after training was finished.
“Hey,” I replied
“How are you feeling after speaking to Violet about everything?” Emily asked
“I am feeling okay. I know I have to prove myself to her after everything. I was going to ask if she and Sof would like to go to the amusement park with me,” I said
“That sounds like fun. I am sure they both would like that. Plus, it is good you are involving Sof. Violet is going to like that you are already making an effort to show you are okay with Sof being in your life,” Emily said.
I heard my mom talking to Violet when I walked past her room. I was going to head to her room after I showered, but

when I heard them speaking, I decided to knock on the door.
‘Good Morning, Ry” My mom said
“Morning, mom,” I said, looking at Violet to see her staring at me, I couldn’t help the smile that came on my face when I saw her checking me out. I wasn’t wearing a shirt, and her eyes were glued to my chest. When her eyes met me, she began to blush at realizing she was caught checking me out.
I was happy when she agreed to go with me to the
amusement park. Sof was pleased and jumping up and down, which made me happy.
I was annoyed with Emily for coming into Violet’s room and asking if she could go to the amusement park with us. I wanted to tell her now, but Violet quickly told her she could also come.
I could tell Violet and Sof were having a lot of fun at the amusement park. I had one Sof, a Minnie mouse, and fish playing the games, and I also got on some of the kiddie rides with Sof. I realized in the short period of knowing Sof that she was a great kid. I knew I was the most stupid guy in the world, being upset that she would be a part of my life when I first met them. She was making her way into my heart, and I felt the need to protect her like a father would protect their pup. I needed Violet to understand that I cared for them both.
As Sof and I were getting off the bumper cars, I noticed Violet looking at someone with fear in her eyes. I couldn’t help but growl when Jane and Trinity, Jane’s Best friend, started walking toward Violet.
“Don’t you dare come anywhere near my Mate,” I growled. I picked Sof up, walked over to where Violet and Emily were

sitting, and placed my hand on Violet’s shoulder to comfort her. Jane looked at my hand that was caressing Violet’s shoulder lovingly with a glare before looking at Sof in my
hands.
“I see you are playing house, Ry,” Jane said and looked at Violet. “Don’t think you have won anything. I know Ry and this.” Jane said, pointing at Violet, Sof, and me. “Won’t last long. Ry is the type of guy to get bored easily, and not even the Mate bond will keep him faithful to you,” Jane finished, and I growled.
“You are not supposed to be anywhere near my Mate, Jane,” I growled. I was mind–linking some of the guards to tell them to take Jane to a cell.
“I didn’t know you were coming here. This is a public place where everyone in our Pack goes,” Jane said then two guards came over to where we were standing.
“Take Jane to a cell. She has broken one of the rules Alpha Lee has given to her. She was supposed to stay away from my Mate, but she followed us here,” I said, and the guards quickly
took her hands.
“What. No, I didn’t break any rules. I didn’t know she would be here. You can’t do this to me,” Jane said, causing a scene. Everyone in the Pack was whispering amongst themselves about what was going on. I could see Violet was
uncomfortable with what had just happened. So I sat next to her and placed my hand in hers.
“Are you okay?”
