And so, he said, “Isn’t Madelyn’s birthday just a few days away? When the time comes, I’ll take matters into my own hands and completely win her over.”
After he finished speaking, he glanced at Janessa again, adding, “You might be able to back me up then. Make sure to give me a hand when the time comes.”
Upon hearing these words, Janessa couldn’t help but be taken aback.

Janessa had completely forgotten about it, but Christopher remembered it so well.

Following that, Christopher couldn’t help but think about the present.
Every time he saw Madelyn, he was almost always left in awe by her beauty.
On top of that, she played hard to get and refused to admit defeat. Christopher couldn’t help but acknowledge that she had a certain charm about her at times.

Madelyn also clenched her fist as she replied, “I’ll do my best!”
After taking a brief break and feeling mostly recovered, she went back to Maxton’s place.
The moment she stepped in, she happened to catch sight of Maxton engaged in a conversation with a
woman.
Although there was some distance between them, it was not hard to discern that the woman was exceptionally beautiful.
In contrast, Maxton appeared significantly more aloof.
