Jason wore a friendly smile.
Janie was already starting to feel drowsy. ‘Why are we still at it?‘ she thought.
Jackson found the scene before him nauseating. He glanced at Janie with concern. He knew she didn’t care about the Jenkins family, but still…
He understood how deeply Janie valued her personal feelings. Seeing her completely unfazed, even a bit sleepy, made him relax. He then turned his focus back to disdain the Jenkins siblings.
The Jenkins siblings were still being affectionate.
“Not exactly. Ethan cares about you the most,” Zion said.
He couldn’t help but glance at Janie, only to find her not showing the reaction he hoped for–she didn’t even look at him. He gritted his teeth in frustration.
Xena appeared both happy and shy.
Ryan decided it was time to steer things in a different direction and said, “Alright, let’s say hello to everyone.”
Xena quickly chimed in, “Right, they are all from the production team, and we need to say hello to our audience too!”
Zion’s gaze was fixed on Janie. Five years had passed, and she looked more beautiful and elegant than ever.
He felt as if she were looking at him like a stranger. No, she didn’t even glance at him. It was as if he were invisible.
Zion smiled at the camera. “Hello, everyone, I’m Zion Jenkins, Xena’s twin brother.”
[Wow, Zion is so handsome. All the Jenkins family members are so good–looking. I wanna kiss him! If only Ryan were here too. Life is so unfair. Why am I not as lucky as Xena? Ugh! I’m tired of being envious already.]

[He said he’s “Xena’s twin brother” instead of “Ryan’s brother“. It’s true that Zion dotes on Xena. She is just so lovable.]

Jackson felt even more nauseated. He found the Jenkins siblings had no shame, spinning lies that turned his stomach.
Of course, Janie wasn’t one of them in his mind. He believed that she must be a rare gem among them, a genetic miracle.
Zion then turned to the guests.
Jason quickly stood up, extending his hand to Zion with a smile. “Hello, Mr. Jenkins. I’m Jason Huxley, an actor and a friend
of Xena’s.”
Zion wasn’t fond of him, but upon hearing he was a friend of Xena’s, he shook his hand anyway.

Zion sighed, “You’re just too nice.”
Jackson and David were speechless.
Molly also greeted Zion.

Janie, Jackson, and David stood frozen like statues.
Though Janie didn’t say it outright, David knew that her relationship with the Jenkins family must be pretty rocky
He already had a strong liking for Janie, especially since she had done so much for him and his family, showing impressive abilities.
So, he stood firmly by Janie’s side.
They remained silent, and the usually confident Zion also didn’t start a conversation.
The tension in the air grew thick.
Xena smiled and said, “Zion, these three are Miss Janie, Mr. Jackson, and the best actor David. You know, he’s my idol“”
Zion’s expression softened slightly as he looked at David and said, “Hello”
David gave a professional but perfunctory smile. “Hello.”
The atmosphere grew awkward again.

Just as the director was about to speak, Zion approached Janie and halted in front of her. “Miss Janier
Zion’s smile carried a hint of disdain and provocation. “You’re quite beautiful, but it seems you lack manners and good
character.”
Everyone was clearly caught off guard by his blatant hostility toward Janie, momentarily stunned.
Once they realized what was going on, David felt a rush of anger.
Before Janie could respond, Jackson stood up.
He squared off against Zion, standing slightly taller. “What is wrong with you? What nonsense are you talking about?”
He was genuinely furious.
He knew how Zion had been making things tough for Janie back at the Jenkins family, and now he couldn’t believe Zion dared to provoke Janie like this.
Zion frowned and shot a glare at Jackson, feeling embarrassed about his height.
He gritted his teeth. “I’m speaking to Janie. Who are you to interrupt?”
Jackson scoffed, thinking Zion should be thankful for his current situation. Otherwise, he would have already been taken down, or worse.
[Damn! I said Janie was rude. Good job, Zion! Someone needs to set her straight!]
[What a fool! How is Janie being rude? Who do you think you are? Zion just came out swinging, criticizing Janie for being rude and having bad character. What a hypocrite!]
