Emily could already imagine how others viewed her. Still, she still felt that she did nothing wrong. However, she knew she couldn’t just do nothing anymore.
Then, she gritted her teeth and threw her umbrella to the side. “Let’s help them too, Xena.”
Xena felt uncomfortable being spoken over like that.
She smiled and said, “Sure. I was already planning to help my brothers. I just wanted you to rest, Emily.”
Hearing her words, Emily cursed inwardly. Still, she said, “No way. How can I do nothing at all? Let’s go and help Ryan and Zion.”
They searched around and finally saw Ryan and Zion, who were digging potatoes so hard they were nearly covered in dirt.
Looking at them, the duo was dumbstruck.
Xena frowned and wondered why they were working so hard. It wasn’t like them at all.
Plus, there was no reason to do so!
However, she didn’t have time to think as she pulled Emily along with her.
[Finally! They are going to work. It’s all thanks to Janie.]
[I bet Ryan and Zion are wishing them to stay away.]
In the meantime, Janie sighed helplessly as she watched Jackson furiously digging up potatoes.
“Stop digging. These are enough,” she said softly.
Jackson, whose mind was entirely focused on potatoes, was snapped out of it by Janie’s voice, and the imaginary potatoes in his mind gradually vanished.
Then, he slowly stopped his movements.
Seeing his dust–covered face, Janie couldn’t help but laugh.
The more Jackson wiped his face, the dirtier his face became.
Janie smiled and said, “Stop wiping it. You can wash it later.”
Jackson chuckled sheepishly.
Janie glanced around and couldn’t help but twitch an eyebrow as she saw Ryan, Zion, and David still digging up potatoes.
“You guys are going to dig the whole field empty!” she complained.
Jackson glanced at them with a hint of disdain.
He wondered if he looked like that earlier when he was digging potatoes.
No, he would not admit it.
He was far more classy than they were.

Chapter 57
“Let’s go.”
Janie nodded.
Then, Jackson began to carry the potatoes.
David noticed that Jackson and his group had finished digging and quickly stopped to catch up.
When he looked up, he realized he had dug up quite a lot of potatoes. At that moment, he felt kind of proud.
As for Zion and Ryan, he decided not to compete with them since they were still trying hard. Moreover, he saw Emily and Xena heading toward them.
‘Good luck. He prayed for them inwardly.
Then, he exclaimed, “Jackson, let’s do it together.”
Hearing his voice, Jackson paused momentarily before ignoring him.
Since he refused to let Janie move the potatoes, Janie could only wait for him under a nearby tree.
[Jackson and Janie are my most favorite siblings. I hope they can stay together more often.]
[I love how Jackson is so obedient in front of Janie.]
[To be honest, this is the first time I have seen Ryan work so hard after being his fan for so many years. Is this the competitive spirit of a man?]
[David, is it Janie or Jackson do you love?]
“Ryan! Zion! We’re here to help!”
Xena’s voice rang out, but Zion and Ryan didn’t hear her since they were focusing on digging potatoes.
Xena stiffened when she saw them ignoring her.
“Ryan? Zion?”
She gave
them a push.
At that moment, Zion and Ryan instinctively swatted her hand away, catching Xena off guard and causing her to fall to the ground.
Initially, Emily could have caught her. However, she didn’t budge.
“Xena!”
Emily shouted and quickly went to help Xena up.
Only then did Ryan and Zion snap out and look at Xena.
“Xena?”
