Ryan and the others were stunned.

She just couldn’t stand by and watched someone died in front of her. However, she wasn’t about to force help where it wasdt wanted.
However, it was a pity since the old man seemed like a good person. After all, she could see the fortune surrounding him
Seeing Janie being shut down, Emily and the others were secretly pleased.

Although Ryan was unhappy by the man’s attitude toward Janie, he also agreed that Janie shouldn’t have interfered.
Only Jackson and David shot icy glares at the man who had stopped her.
Then, the man quickly fed the old man his regular medicine.

The man froze and glared at her furiously.

Janie looked at the man with a blank expression and said, “Step aside if you want him to stay alive.”
Hearing her words, the man hesitated. However, Jackson soon lifted him like a ragdoll and tossed him aside.
The man was momentarily stunned before glaring at Jackson.
Jackson looked back with a cold gaze.
Thinking of the old man’s near–death state, the man gritted his teeth and decided to give it a shot.
He decided to make Janie pay if anything went wrong.

He glared at Janie fiercely.
Ignoring the man’s threatening gaze, Janie knelt down and checked the old man’s pute
Then, she pulled out some needles and quickly administered acupuncture. After that, she told Jackson to give the old man a pill.
Ryan was shocked by her actions and exclaimed, Janie! Are you out of your mind?
He knew she had good intentions, but this was just reckless.
After all, how would she handle the situation if the old man didn’t make it?
Moreover, Ryan could tell that the old man seemed to be a big shot, which would only make the whole situation harder to handle.
Just as Ryan was about to pull Janie away, the old man’s face slowly regained its color. The twisted pain on his face disappeared and was replaced by calmness.
In that split second, Ryan stood there in shock.
Aside from Jackson and David, who had already witnessed Janie’s skills, everyone else was dumbfounded
Initially, the old man was confused. However, he soon realized what had happened.
His body no longer felt any discomfort, and the near–death sensation had vanished.
He had narrowly escaped death and was still alive.
Even the pain from earlier had disappeared.
Seeing that the old man was okay, Emily and Xena rushed forward to help him up.
However, the man pushed them away.
He helped the old man up and asked hastily, “Are you okay?”
The old man shot him a glare and swatted his hand away.
The man stepped back as he knew it was his mistake.
‘He hadn’t expected the situation to spiral out of control so quickly after being away for just a short while.
He was also filled with lingering fear.
In the meantime, the old man bowed respectfully to Janie and said, “Thank you, young lady. I owe you my life.”
“It’s nothing,” Janie replied calmly.
However, this wasn’t a small favor to the old man. “I heard them call you Janie? Is that your name?”
Hearing him address Brooke so respectfully, everyone was surprised.
“That’s right,” Jackson said proudly. “She is Janie.”
The old man nodded and remembered Janie’s name and appearance.
Then, he glanced at the man beside him.

The man immediately understood and bowed deeply to Janie. “I apologize for my rudeness earlier, Miss Janie. I shouldn’t have underestimate you. Thank you for saving him.
Jackson looked at him coldly.
“Okay, Janie replied nonchalantly.
The old man continued, “Miss Janie, my name is Eason Forrest, and this is my contact number. I owe you my life, and I’ll repay that debt in full.”
When the crowd heard who the man was, their expression changed drastically.
Especially Xena, who exclaimed, “You are Old Mr. Forrest!”
Realizing that she was with Janie, Eason smiled and said “Indeed.”
Emily was puzzled and asked Xena, “Who is he?”
Xena suppressed the disdain in her eyes and replied, “Eason is the president of the National Fine Arts Association.”
Emily still seemed lost, but Xena didn’t bother explaining further
“What a fool, Xena thought inwardly.
“Mr. Eason, I’m competing in the painting contest your association is hosting. It’s such an honor to meet you!” Xena said excitedly.
“Is that so?” Eason smiled, “I hope to see you in the finals.”
Xena was overjoyed and nodded vigorously.
“Would it be alright if I had your number? I’d love to ask you for advice.”

Hearing her words, Eason frowned. After all, rarely gave out his private number. However, he hesitated since he didn’t want to risk offending Janie by refusing her friend.
Janie was obviously no ordinary person. Even if she didn’t save him, he still wanted to befriend with her.
Thus, it wouldn’t be a good thing if Janie was upset that he refused her friend.
In the meantime, Jackson rolled his eyes and said, “If you guys are going to keep talking, we’re leaving.”
In that split second, Eason immediately set Xena aside and hurried toward Janie, “Miss Janie, can I treat you to a meal?”
“It’s fine. We still have a show to film,” Janie replied faintly.
Xena panicked. After all, Eason was a legendary figure. She couldn’t believe Janie would turn down such a great opportunity.
Then, she said, “Janie, meeting someone like Mr. Eason is a once–in–a–lifetime opportunity. The show can wait.”
“And what does that have to do with you?” Janie looked at her coldly.
Xena’s face turned pale, and she said, “I just wanted to tell you not to miss such a good opportunity.”
Hearing their conversation, Eason seemed to realize something. “Aren’t you guys friends?”
“No,” Janie replied calmly.
Eason nodded, and his attitude towards Xena visibly turned cold.

Zion was quite displeased, but he still said patiently, “Mr. Eason, Xena is very talented. If she could get your guidance, it’d be
a real honor.”
Eason nodded and replied, “If you’ve made it this far, you clearly have some skill. Keep up the good work. However, I don’t think it’s necessary to guide you. I haven’t taken on students in years. I lack the time, energy, and interest in it.”
