After they parted, a small figure slowly sat up in a car parked not far from the café. It was a young, cute–looking girl who patted her chest and matcred. That was close. That girl is really sharp–she almost spotted me.
She had never encountered someone so perceptive before, even though she was a muster at hiding her presence. Could that girl be an enhanced human tool she wondered, a flicker of suspicion crossing her mind.
