‘David wasn’t exactly a good guy either.
Xena put on an obedient look on her face, yet inside, she was filled with a sense of grievance and complaints.
She thought to herself, ‘Sure enough, all those sweet words on ordinary days were nothing but hypocritical And when the topic involved the members of the Jenkins family, the people from the Jenkins family immediately changed their tune
Xena shot a glance at Ryan and Zion. One of them had his head lowered now, and the other kept his lips sealed in stease
Neither of them was willing to help Xena out of her current predicament.
Xena was heartbroken.
In fact, nothing else had been going smoothly for Xena lately either.

Forcing a smile, Xena said, “Mr. Moore, you surely do love joking around.”
Jackson snorted coldly and replied, “I never joke.”
Xena’s expression froze on her face.
“This Jackson! Always so harsh with his words!‘
But even in this situation, surprisingly, Ryan and Zion still showed no sign of wanting to speak up, which left Jason and Emily quite shocked.
‘Could it be that there was some sort of conflict among the siblings of the Jenkins family?”
‘You have to know that Ryan and Zion had always doted on their sister Xena!
Jason forced a smile and said, “Mr. Moore, you might have had some misunderstandings. Little Xena is the purest and kindest. Besides, we’re colleagues, and we have to get along harmoniously in the future.”
Jackson, however, said with a dismissive look, “Nonsense. It’s our Janie who’s truly pure and kind.”
Janie was left speechless.
Jackson’s words had gone a bit too far.
Jason was so choked that he didn’t know what to say in reply.
Jackson really has no idea how to read the room. He’s so annoying!”
Unable to utter a word, Jason could only give an awkward smile.

No one at the scene came to Jason’s aid, not even Emily who was quite close to him.
Immediately, the atmosphere was plunged into a stifling silence.
Xena directed a look of supplication toward her two brothers, Ryan and Zion.
But Ryan, who was deep in thought with his head down, didn’t even notice Xena’s look.

Memories kept flashing through Ryan’s mind–Janie’s words, Xena’s ferocious expression and venomous remarks at that time, and the fact that his mother had been saved from the jaws of death by Janic.
He was struggling to keep his wits about him.
‘If I had handled things more thoroughly back then, five years ago, would these people not be making such a big fuss now?”
Zion wasn’t looking at her either at this moment. Likewise, he also failed to notice her imploring gaze.

“This guy looks extremely haughty, yet he takes such meticulous care of Janie. However, he doesn’t seem to care about Jackson at all.
