Phoebe saw that Declan remained silent and didn’t speak further, so she didn’t press the issue and just changed her shoes
and lef.
Phoebe arrived at the coffee shop where she had arranged to meet Cora and quickly sat down across from her. “Why were you in such a hurry to meet me today?”
Cora said, “Phoebe, my family introduced me to a match, but I have something this afternoon, so I need you to meet him for me.”
Phoebe almost spat out her coffee, shocked that Cora wanted her to go on the blind date for her.
Phoebe struggled to swallow her coffee and looked at Cora. “Are you sure you’re not joking?”
“Of course not, Phoebe. Please do me this favor. My afternoon appointment is really important, Cora insisted.
Phoebe thought for a moment, then raised an eyebrow, “I can help, but what’s in it for me?”
Cora asked, “What do you want?”
Phoebe replied, “I’m leaving Roseberg next weekend and won’t be back until the following weekend. While I’m gone, I need you to take care of all my work”
Phoebe didn’t want to come back to a mountain of paperwork on her desk and then have to stay late to catch up.
Cora couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, I agree.”
Once they had come to an agreement, Cora gave Phoebe the address of the restaurant she had arranged with her date and hurried off.
Though there were still a few hours before their meeting, Phoebe didn’t want to return to the villa to face Declan. She decided to visit a shopping mall instead.
After browsing for a while, Phoebe ran into Bianca and Jennifer.
When they saw Phoebe, the smiles on their faces immediately turned into expressions of disgust.
Bianca, in particular, seemed much more emotional than Jennifer.
Bianca looked at Phoebe coldly, her eyes filled with hatred and contempt. “Phoebe, you slut, how dare you show up in front of me?”
Phoebe frowned and, not wanting to engage, turned to leave.
However, Bianca thought Phoebe was guilty and quickly blocked her path. “Stop right there. You broke up me and Scott, and today, I’m going to teach you a lesson.”
Bianca raised her hand to slap Phoebe, but Phoebe caught her wrist, and Bianca couldn’t break free. “Phoebe, you slut, let go of me.”
As soon as Bianca finished speaking, Phoebe slapped her across the face.
“Ah!” Bianca screamed.
Phoebe pushed her away, coldly saying, “Bianca, you broke up with Scott because of your own actions. It has nothing to do with me. If you want to blame someone, it should be Jennifer. After all, every time you come looking for trouble with me, she’s always involved.”

Bianca, having just received Jennifer’s favor, wasn’t willing to listen to Phoebe. “Slut, stop trying to sow discord. You dare slap me? I’m going to tear your mouth apart today.”
Like a madwoman, Bianca lunged at Phoebe. Phoebe’s eyes hardened. She grabbed Bianca’s hand and slapped her again.
“Don’t let me hear you insult me again, or what you get won’t just be a couple of slaps, Phoebe said.
After the two slaps, Bianca realized she was no match for Phoebe. Gritting her teeth, she said, “Phoebe, just wait.”
Phoebe said nothing. She let go of Bianca’s wrist and turned to leave.
Jennifer hurried over to support Bianca. “Bianca, I told you before. Pheebs knows boxing. We’re no match for her, so why are you acting so recklessly?”
