Yann shot her a glare, both frustrated and concerned. ‘I have never met anyone as foolish as you!
Phoebe simply smiled and changed the topic.
That night. Jennifer and Bianca were also dining at the same restaurant. Back when they were studying abroad, there was a guy in their circle named Vasir Ross who had fallen for Jennifer at first sight. He had pursued her for a long time, but she never agreed to be with him, and eventually, they lost contact.
During their last trip to the resort, Bianca and Jennifer ran into Yasir by chance. That was when Jennifer learned that Yasir was actually the son of the renowned director, Silvester Ross,
Silvester’s new film. The Legend, had a few scenes being filmed at a Wright Group resort, and Yasir had tagged along for a few days of leisure.
The Legend was a big–budget production, telling the story of a fallen princess hiding her true identity who fell in love with the prince of an enemy kingdom. The film reportedly had a budget of 100 million dollars and featured the best actor Mason and actress Yvonne Patel.
Both were known for their sharp eye in picking scripts and with Silvester’s reputation for consistently producing critically acclaimed films, The Legend was already generating significant buzz before its release.
Knowing that Bianca wanted to break into the entertainment industry, Jennifer had dined with Yasir a few times, hoping he could help Bianca make some connections. That was how tonight’s dinner came about. Bianca was hosting, treating Yasir and Silvester.
During the dinner, Silvester mentioned that they had yet to find an actress for a maid role in the film. Seeing that Bianca’s appearance suited the part, he had her perform a short scene on the spot.
Though Bianca’s acting was a bit raw, it was sufficient for such a small role. Silvester approved and told her to come in the next day to sign the contract.
After dinner, as the group was leaving, Yasir, walking beside Jennifer, suddenly stopped in his tracks.
“Yasir, what is it?” Jennifer asked.
“Jennie, that girl over there looks just like you,” Yasir said.
Instinctively, Jennifer followed his gaze. When she saw Phoebe’s face and the unfamiliar man sitting across from her, her eyes narrowed slightly, and a cold smirk tugged at the corners of her lips.
She said, “It is common for people to look alike. I just realized I left my car keys in the private room. You go ahead and wait for me outside. I will be right there.”
After sending Yasir away, Jennifer found a hidden spot, discreetly took a picture of Phoebe and Yann having dinner, and immediately sent it to Declan.
Jennifer: [Deck, I just saw Pheebs having dinner with a man. Is he a mutual friend of yours?]
Not long after, Declan replied.
Declan: [Where?]

Declan retorted, “Do not forget that we are still married. If you are going to have dinner alone with another man, do you un think you should at least consult me first?”
