Phantom was listening to her rant, fuidling it amusing.
He thought to himself that Madelyn could be quite adorable sometimes.
Then, Phantom unexpectedly handed his blanket over to Madelyn before asking the flight attendant for another one.
Four hours later, the plane touched down.
When Madelyn opened her eyes again, she found that dawn had broken.
“Huh, isn’t it nighttime right now? How come it’s already so bright?” Madelyn asked in a daze.
With a mischievous grin. Phantom said, “We’ve already landed in Xucror. The time difference here is six hours ahead of our country, so it should be seven in the morning now.”
“Huh?” Madelyn was bewildered.
However, Phantom didn’t elaborate much. He then led Madelyn to check into the most luxurious five–star hotel in the area.
He had another reason for choosing this hotel. This hotel was a covert asset under Oceanic Empire.
Keeping Madelyn confined here made it somewhat easier to keep an eye on her.
Next, Phantom instructed his subordinates, “You guys, escort Ms. Thornton to the guest room for some rest. We’ll resume our journey tonight.”

Following that, the group boarded the helicopter, and then the flight commenced.
Two hours later, the helicopter began its descent.
In the end, they settled on a private little island.
Once they disembarked from the helicopter, a subordinate promptly came over to assist Madelyn in removing the blindfold from her eyes.
Immediately intrigued, Madelyn took a moment to survey her surroundings. She suddenly realized that she was in a strategically located base.
The base was nestled against a towering mountain with a seemingly bottomless cliff in front. Below the cliff, an endless expanse of sea stretched.
