Emily let out a shrill voice. “Then who slapped me? Little Xena was slapped too. Is that also a lie?”
Janic said impatiently, “It’s not impossible. Maybe both of you are lying.”

Emily was so angry that her eyes bulged. “Janie, what did you say!”
