Teresa took a deep breath. During her search for Anthony, she noticed the ornaments of the hotel, and her heart ached so much she felt it difficult to breathe.

She hated Widi because she thought that Widi deserved a good wedding like the other girls, not an extravagant one like
Laura’s.
Because of Richard, her budget for Widi’s wedding would have to increase by more than three times. She didn’t want to spend so much money on Widi or have the guts to disobey Richard, so she was anxious to seek help from her husband.
Why did she hate Widi? She knew that she shouldn’t, and that was why she got shocked by her negative emotions.

Teresa deliberately slowed down. She skillfully showed a smiling face and greeted the scholar when she walked past him.
Then, a thought came into her mind. Instantly, all her so–called internal struggles, headaches, and regrets vanished.
That thought was about a house near Peral University. Widi owned that house, and its value was about the cost of a grand wedding like Laura’s.
No, the house was more valuable because many people wanted it. Back then, Richard had to buy the house via his connections. The residents in that district were affluent, so only a few houses were on sale.

Widi looked up at her mother with doubt and mumbled hesitantly, “Will you?”
“What are you talking about, silly child? The wedding is important to all the girls,” Teresa said.
Widi kept her mouth shut and waited for Teresa to make conditions for her grand wedding. Teresa didn’t disappoint Widi as she got straight to the point the next second.
“In other words, your little brother will have a simple wedding. I want to make it up to him with your house near Peral University…”
Hearing this, Widi couldn’t help but chuckle and let out a sigh of relief. That was Teresa Widi knew.
Widi didn’t know how to describe her feelings at that moment. She didn’t feel disappointed because many things like this had happened to her.
