Phoebe gave Olivia a sarcastic look and said, “I’m not apologizing. I’m done with the Greene family. Since you don’t care about me, let’s just leave each other be.”
After saying that, Phoebe spun around and was about to make her exit.
Olivia flew into a rage and screamed at Phoebe, “If I’d known you’d turn out like this, I would’ve choked you back then!”
Phoebe didn’t even bother to turn around or pause her steps.
Jennifer held Olivia’s hand and comforted her with a sorrowful look, saying, “Mom, don’t be mad. You’ve always been in poor health. Phoebe was just blowing off steam. Don’t take it to heart.”

Olivia said with rage, “Whether she meant that or not, I’m done with her! Jennie, from now on, you’re my only daughter!”
Jennifer felt thrilled inside but put on an awkward expression. “Mom, don’t say that. Let’s get you back home first. I’ll figure out the Jennings family issue later.”
Olivia patted her hand with a weary expression and said, “Jennie, you have done so much for us.”
Jennifer shook her head and said, “It’s all part of what I should do. I’m happy as long as we’re happy together as a family.”
Olivia didn’t voice her dissatisfaction, but she was even more upset with Phoebe in her heart. She thought Jennifer, who had been raised by her parents since childhood, was far more considerate.
After sending Olivia back home, Jennifer called Katrina. “Mrs. Jennings, I have something to tell you. Can I borrow you some minutes?”

In the evening, as Phoebe was stepping out of Miracle Youth after work, someone suddenly darted out from beside her and doused her with a bucket of something.
Phoebe was startled and quickly stepped aside.
The contents of the bucket spilled onto the floor, revealing a terrifying red paint resembling blood. If that paint had hit her, the consequences would have been dire.
That person saw that he hadn’t spilled anything on Phoebe, so he threw down the bucket and turned around to run away.
A second later, a man on a motorcycle came to pick him up. Once the perpetrator was on the bike, he even turned around and made a provocative gesture towards Phoebe. Then, the motorcycle swiftly vanished into the traffic.
Phoebe merely sneered and dialed a number on her phone. She said, “Find out who hired those two people to spill paint on the ground of the Miracle Youth building today.”
An hour later, she smiled and dialed 911.
The police were very efficient. While Phoebe was giving her statement, Katrina had already been brought to the police station by the officers.
Upon seeing Phoebe, Katrina lost her composure and rushed over, shouting, “Phoebe, how dare you call the police on me! I’ll make my husband end the cooperation with the Greene family!”
Phoebe naturally wouldn’t put up with Katrina’s behavior any longer. She grabbed Katrina’s hair and slapped her across the
face.
