After the police officers disembarked from their vehicles, they streamed in one after another. Then, they issued a command. “Everyone, freeze!”
Immediately, the DJ’s music came to a halt, and the previously noisy environment quieted down in an instant.
All the men and women, previously intoxicated, sobered up, their attention drawn to the police officers.

Janessa looked at the police officers, her face filled with confusion.
