“Oh my god, it’s Benjamin. He’s so caring. I’m seriously shipping them! Chloe sure is lucky, being pampered by Benjamin. and protected by Caleb.”
“Exactly! A rich heiress like her is indeed different from ordinary folk.” Fans immediately fantasized about countless
scenarios.
Upon hearing these flattering remarks, Benjamin turned his head to look at Gabrielle. His eyes were filled with hostility and, resentment. It was clear he did what he did to spite her
He hoped to see Gabrielle react in anger or sorrow, but found that Gabrielle was simply looking at her phone with a nonchalant expression, not even bothering to look up. This indifference infuriated him to the point where the veins in his arm were bulging.
Had it not been for the crowd, he would have immediately rushed over to question her.
“Sorry, I’m late.” At that moment, a crisp voice echoed. A woman was seen approaching, donning a sunglass and wearing cargo pants paired with a T–shirt.
She gave a wave of her hand, then proceeded to take off her sunglasses.
“Let’s welcome our rising star, Nadia Bowman!” The host’s voice was filled with excitement as he quickly stepped forward to greet her.
The latter approached and shared a hug with the host.
Meanwhile, another figure was closely following her. He watched as the host held Nadia but only shook hands with him. The man chuckled softly. “Seems like we men aren’t as popular as the women. I don’t even get a hug.”
Upon being teased, the host quickly responded, “You’re the hottest male star right now, Brendan Gullette. You’re so famous that I don’t feel worthy to be in your presence.”
The fans behind burst into laughter as soon as they heard the host‘ joke.
Nadia, with her luggage, stood there, surveying the few people around her. Finally, her gaze settled on Gabrielle. She stepped forward and promptly took a seat beside the latter.
In response, Brendan followed suit, taking a seat to the left of
left of Gabrielle.
The two of them were now flanking Gabrielle, who had chosen the seat hoping to get a quiet corner. Unexpectedly, the two had inadvertently put her in the spotlight, immediately drawing the camera’s attention their way,
“Hello,” Nadia greeted her softly, “we’re about to be left alone on a deserted island to fend for ourselves. Let’s work together
when the time comes.”
“Me too. It’s also my first time on a deserted island,” Brendan added.
Gabrielle was generally a quiet person. Upon hearing the two popular celebrities striking up a conversation with her, she chuckled softly and said. “I feel exactly the same way.”

She assumed her V–neck halter top would have successfully captured the spotlight, but unexpectedly, Nadia had stolen it from her. The two were, after all, arch–rivals.
She had initially set her sights on the leading lady role in the now wildly popular period drama. Despite her long and arduous struggle to secure the part, it was unexpectedly taken away by Nadia. As soon as the show aired, Nadia instantly shot to fame.
Over that incident, the outraged Chloe hated Nadia.
If her role hadn’t been stolen, she wouldn’t still be stuck in the awkward position of being a second to third rate actress.

She never in her wildest dreams thought that she would end up being ostracized.
Despite her careful efforts to dress up, to the extent of her ample bosom nearly spilling out, it didn’t create the splash she had hoped for. She had even splurged to custom–make her outfit.
“Calm down. We haven’t even reached the island yet. Once we’re there, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen. Benjamin gently patted the back of her hand in an attempt to comfort her.
Meanwhile, Caleb remained silent, his gaze fixed intently on Gabrielle.
He hadn’t anticipated that she would be so close with Nadia and Brendan and wondered why he had no knowledge of it.
“Sorry, I got caught in traffic and was late. I’m really sorry.” At this moment, a girl carrying a box hurried over, panting heavily. Sweat was trickling down her face, clearly indicating how much of a rush she was in.
She was followed by a young man, and together, they had recently formed a team.
The woman’s name was Jennifer Stokes, and the man was Ryan Carr. Both of them had released a fair amount of songs, all of which received quite well received. Recently, they had also made their way into the film and television industry. Their participation in the reality show was a strategic move to gain more visibility and secure better opportunities.
“It seems all our guests have arrived, the host announced, microphone in hand.
Jennifer and Ryan stood there, noticing two empty spots in the center, which were clearly prime seats. After a moment of hesitation, they decided to step forward.
Ryan chose a spot near Caleb, while Jennifer took a seat beside Nadia
“Let me explain the rules of our reality show now. This time, when you arrive on the island, we won’t be confiscating your phones. However, once you’re on the island, your phone signals will be blocked. You’ll still be able to use your phones to communicate with each other on the island. When the time comes, we’ll be broadcasting live. The camera crew and director will accompany you onto the island. Now, we’re going to check your luggage. You’re not allowed to bring any food items but medication is fine. Additionally, we have ropes, daggers, kitchen knives, axes, stun batons, water guns, wolf repellent spray, and iron shovels among other self–defense items. Feel free to choose any one of them.”
As the host spoke, a staff member immediately brought forward the self–defense items.
“I want this one.” Chloe immediately stood up, grabbing the electric baton,
Narrowing his eyes, Benjamin rose to his feet, stating, “Then I’ll take the axe!
if afraid it would be taken by someone else.
“Well, I guess I’m left with the kitchen knife.” Caleb stated, promptly choosing the kitchen knife.
In response, Ryan also walked over and said, “In that case, I’ll take the iron spade.”
Observing the situation, the host chuckled and announced, “It seems the four of you share the same line of thought. Since you’ve all chosen together, you four will form a team, and the remaining items will go to the other team.”
When the self–defense tools were pushed over, Gabrielle picked up a dagger, Nadia chose a rope, Brendan grabbed a water gun, and Jennifer, lastly, took the pepper spray.
After they had collected their items, the host continued, “Your task, for the next half–month on the island, will be to search for food each day. As long as you gather enough food each day, the winning team will be rewarded with special opportunities by Royal Entertainment at the end of the show.”
The revelation caused the scene to instantly fall silent.
Royal Entertainment was the creme de la crème of the entertainment industry, boasting the finest connections and resources. The company was the birthplace of many A–list actors and actresses.
Once one secured the best opportunities from Royal Entertainment, it would just be a matter of time before they became an
A–lister.

“Let’s board the boat!” the host declared. The fans behind them instantly erupted into cheers, enthusiastically rooting for their beloved celebrities. Their voices were incredibly loud and resonant.
After the group boarded the boat, the production team and others were still preparing other things.
Gabrielle got up to use the restroom, but as soon as she stepped out, she was blocked at the doorway, Benjamin, with a stern expression on his face, stood before her. He threatened, “Zachary has ordered you to make Chloe look good in the show. If you cooperate and ensure Chloe takes first place, enabling her to secure the opportunities provided by Royal Entertainment, we’ll grudgingly make you a permanent staff. If not, when your contract expires, we won’t renew it.”
