“Hella, Dr Carter. I’m Max. The boy greeted him with a grin.
Asher tried to smile at the young boy as he checked his folder.
70, Max. How do you feel?”
“My throat hurts, and I had a fever yesterday, but Dr Flores checked me already. She said I’ll survive.” He said happily
Asher took his LED light and stepped to the boy, pushing Olivia way
“Let me see.” He said.
“Tonsillitis. I prescribed antibiotics.” Olivia said, which made Asher look at her suddenly.
“I thought you can’t practise alone yer
Olivia chuckled
“I bet I have more experience than you.”
“Then why do have to be here with you?” Asher asked, running out of polence.

“I requested no one to help, so don’t blame me
“It isn’t your decision, and till Dr Knox wants me to be here with your, you can’t decide without me.” Asher sounded like her boss, and she didn’t like that.

Olivia and Asher stood there appalled, but after a few seconds., Asher walked to the computer and checked who was next.
They didn’t talk to each other all day Ather continued being aneun to Olivie, but she found that it was better to bear it. She ualy felt a little relief when it was time for a break. She bought a coffee, and she sat down or u table. She unly opened her eyes briefly when she smelled Asher suit. She saw him step in and head to the food provided. Olivia hoped that he wouldn t any how on purpose this time, but Asher had another plan.
Asher took a tray and filled it with food. Dit closed her eyes and tried to relax her nerves when her extremely sensitive nose caught a horrible self. She opened her eyes suddenly and jumped when she saw Asher sitting at her table sypusdie her.
“What are you doing? There are many empty tables around. She hussed. “Why can’t you leave me alone, at least for a few minutes?

“We are working together. I have got to take care of you. What would they think if they saw you sitting here alone?

Ovid was about to stand up and choose another table, but other doctors entered the canteen as well, and she didn’t want them to see they didn’t get on with each other. She gritted her teeth and sat back at the table before Asher.
