She slowly approached the room and was not ready for what she was about to see. Her heart broke when she saw the chained, suffocating creature that was desperate to get to her. But what surprised her was that when she stopped and stared at him, the beast lay on the floor, whining quietly. His aggression: faded, and he was like a lonely puppy who only longed for love.
Olivia approached slowly, just in case the wolf would change his mind. After all, he w reached him, she fell on her knees, and the colossal beast lay his head on her lap, still whining. Olivia smiled and caressed his head.

The wolf seemed to have calmed down, and it felt perfectly comfortable being near her. After observing the food curiously, Olivia took the meat she brought, and the creature started to eat. Sitting on the floor, Olivia waited patiently when she remembered Dr. Knox.
She stood up slowly, not to scare the wolf, and she saw that happily, Asher also had a home phone.
“Don talk,” Olivia whispered the wolf that stared at her curiously. But after observing her for a moment, he returned to his food. Probably, that excited him
more.
Olivia quickly called the hospital and said Asher had a nasty infection. The infection kept him lying in bed, and his fever kept him nearly unconscious so he couldn’t get to the phone. She said she had given him some medications and that she would take care of him until he was fit enough to go back to work. Dr. Knox seemed calm and understanding, which put Olivia at ease.
After hanging up, she sat back down. When the creature finished his meal, he licked Olivia’s hand and made himself comfortable, lying beside her and resting his head on her lap,
Olivia just sat there, caressing his head with a smile, and she did not move all night. In the morning, she had to go to work. After petting the wolf for the last time, she left the house. She heard him howling, but she could not stay there forever. She didn’t even know what Asher would say, as no one called her, and maybe she treated the wolf in a way that Asher didn’t like. Even if she thought Asher could be angry with her later, she returned after her shift.
Asher could pour his anger on her after he returned, but she thought she had time to prepare for it until then.
After she finished, she followed the same routine: She brought food, fed the enormous black wolf, and cuddled with him. When the wolf started whining again, understanding what he wanted took her a while. She fed him so he had needs.
She walked out of the room, and she found a back dour quickly. Olivia sighed because she wasn’t sure if she let the creature out; he wouldn’t want to run away. However, when she opened the dour, she stood there, surprised. Asher thought of everything, indeed. There was a small area that he secured with massive bars, Olivia undid the chains and led the woll out. She thought it would be hard, but it seemed like the wolf didn’t want to leave her. He quickly ran our while Olivia gave him privacy, and soon, he appeared back in the house, ubviously happy to see Olivia,
“Good boy,” Olivia said as she petted him, then walked back into the count with him.
She made herself comfortable on the floor, and the wolf lay beside her, resting his head on her lap again. Olivia thought deeply while she caressed his head. She just remembered something that tortured her recently, but not since she started caring for Asher’s wolf. That creature made her forget about her thirst, about the misery, about every bad thing that she ever thought. She felt perfect.
In the morning, she kissed the wolf’s head. Olivia knew that was the last night she saw him. Side expected Asher to appear soon and didn’t want him to find her there. She wrote a letter to him, telling him the hospital sent her to check on him. She reassured him that no one had discovered what was happening and told Dr. Knox what she had told him. She hesitated first, as she didn’t know how much Asher was aware of the outside world while his wolf took the lend.
