Chapter 30
“Liv, drink it for the Moon Goddess‘ sake. I don’t want you to fall into pieces in my guest room.” He held Olivia’s face and gently turned her head towards. him, pushing the paper straw to her lips again.
“Be a good girl and open it.” He said. Olivia lifted her gaze to look into Asher’s eyes. Asher did not look away, and what feeling his gaze caused into her chest was utterly unfamiliar to her. She didn’t know, but Asher felt precisely the same. His only problem was that this feeling wasn’t unfamiliar to him at all. But now he had something more important to focus on. He was thinking of forcing her sumehow to accept the blood and drink it when Olivia Took the straw into her mouth, and she sucked on it. Asher sighed in relief while he kept the cup, letting her drink. However, watching her drink blood made him feel nauseous, so he looked away before he would threw up.
After Olivia drank the contents of the cup, he put it on the bedside table, and he left the room without a word. Asher walked into his living room and laid down comfortably on his couch. He turned the TV on and wanted to watch it, but his thoughts didn’t let him do that. After about an hour, he lifted his head as he heard some noise and he could smell the familiar scent of her.
“Asher,” Olivia’s voice made him turn toward the door. She looked so fragile, and Asher felt sorry for her, even if he didn’t want to feel anything for her.
“Thank you.” She lowered her head.
Asher looked at her for a moment, then he nodded. Olivia turned around then she walked towards the main door.
Are you okay to go home alone?”
Olivia heard Asher’s voice who followed her to the door. She turned back to look at him, and she nodded. Asher wasn’t sure if he should have let her go home alone, but he let her go. He remembered that night when she ended up in the hospital, but he thought she should be full of energy now, so he should
not worry,
Olivia had a long walk back home bare feet. She felt the cold, which disturbed her, but she couldn’t think about anything other than Asher, a werewolf who helped her, even though he hated her. Why did he do that? Did he do it in exchange of she helped him? Probably, that was the reason, she thought, so she also thought to herself to stop imagine that he would have got to like hen
After she got back home, she got naked. When she looked into the mirror, she felt better and saw that her skin was nice and smooth. She watched herself for while. Her hair got its shine back, like her skin. Her flawless body looked stunning again. Only her eyes showed that blood gave her power back. They were red. She lowered her head first; then she turned to the bath. She let the hot water run, and she felt so good to sit in the hot water. Only her head was out of it, and she didn’t leave the water until she could see through the steam in the bathrooms. Her body warmed up finally, like a human, She knew it wouldn’t last long, but she tried to keep it by covering herself entirely with a thick quilt, and even if her mind couldn’t be at ease, she fell asleep soon.
Early in the morning, she called Dr. Knox, letting her know she was fine and wanted to go back to work. Dr. Knox first made sure she was okay, as she didn’t want Olivia to take the infection into the hospital, but then sounded happy to say they were looking forward to seeing her in the hospital again.
When it was time, she got ready. She dressed up, and after putting her contact lenses in her eyes, she looked like before. She felt a little heavy about meeting Asher again, but she thought maybe he would do everything not to meet her. Therefore she shouldn’t worry, she thought,
Dr. Knox gested her friendly. She wanted to give her an easy duty, but Olivia reassured her she was fine, so she got back to the A&E. It wasn’t the weekend. and it seemed like it wasn’t as crazy as usual either, but she did not stop.
She saw Asher
few times, and she felt weird. Each time he was cluse, his gaze was on her, but she pretended she did not notice him at all.
It was in the evening when she took her first break. Olivia walked to the canteen and happily realised it was empty. She took a coffee from the machine and sat down with the paper cup. She sat next to a window and looked out of it.
Asher kept himself busy as well. He realized she used contact lenses and that frustrated him somehow. He didn’t know why. He felt his wolf’s excitement all day. His beast tried to push him to her, asking her if she felt better. Secing her a day before made Asher curious as well. He kept thinking of her fighting against her thirst. Not him, or anyone he know, saw a vampire so strictly relusing blood. He didnt understand why she was so against the liquid that kept
He was on a twenty four–hour shift and fch he needed a coffee to keep himself up. The familiar scent bit his nose instantly when he stepped inside the canteen, and from the window’s mirror, he saw Olivia staring at him. He bought a coffee, and at first, he thought he would sit at another table, but finally, his wolf won by pushing him to go to hei
“May 17” He asked,
Olivan looked at him and nodded. Asher pulled the chair out and sat down, Olivia stared at him, awanting hun to talk. Asher stared at his coller, but finally, he raised his gaze to look at her
“How do you feel!” He asked.
“Much better.” She said. Asher nodded, and the silence between them became awkward. Both of them were thinking of what they should ask each other, but

finally, they started to talk at the same time,
They both smiled, and Asher motioned for her to speak first.
“Why? Why did you help me?”
dlocked away for a moment.
Asher shrugged his shoulders and looked away
“My wolf likes you. He got attached to you a bit when you came to see him. He was so grateful for you feeding him, and actually, I was grateful for that too. He finally calmed down.”
Olivia looked surprised while listening to Asher.
