She had only known them for two days. The previous night, she mentioned turning twenty the next day. To her surprise. they remembered. Earlier, they used the excuse of hunting to pick wild fruits and weave a floral wreath for her.
The value of a gift is not in its price but in its sincerity.
After Gabrielle was brought back to the Seavers family, she was always ostracized and had never experienced such kind
treatment.
Yet, strangers she had known for only two days cared about her more than her family did. She had mixed feelings
“Thank you!” Gabrielle muttered. As she ate, her curiosity was piqued. “How did you know it was my birthday today?” she asked
“Didn’t you mention it yesterday! That you’re turning twenty today, Nadia replied, her eyes curving into a st
smile.
Not far off, Chloe heard singing. She quickened pace and saw Gabrielle surrounded by Nadia and Brendan, singing and weaving a floral wreath.
“Gabrielle, you scum! Are you so desperate to enter the entertainment industry that you had to suck up to Nadia and Brendan Chloe mocked.
Chloe had once tried to get closer to Brendan but couldn’t even meet him.
Needless to say, Nadia and Chloe were rivals. Nadia even suppressed Chloe.
Chloe thought Gabrielle befriended Nadia and Brendan to punish her.
Chloe had been working hard to get closer to the person she wanted, yet she found they were close to Gabrielle. Chloe was upset. She stood there, unable to accept the situation.
Watching Gabrielle and the others indulge in delicious food, Chloe clenched her teeth, ready to rush forward, but a sudden pain in her stomach halted her.
Chloe unable to hold it any longer and let out a loud fart
She had an intense stomach pain as if her stomach were being relentlessly churned. It felt as though something was desperately trying to flow out of her. Her face instantly turned pale.
“Oww! Chloe clutched her stomach, pain etched on her face as she stumbled back.
The cameraman was trailing behind her when he heard a fart. He stood there, stunned, as a pungent odor filled the air, causing him to feel nauseous.
The cameraman froze in place.
Without thinking, he hoisted the camera and followed Chloe. Seeing her dart into a bush, he immediately gave chase.
Just as the cameraman was about to focus the camera on Chloe, he realized something was off. Chloe was crouching in the bush. Her face darkened when she saw the cameraman. She barked, “I have a stomachache!”
The cameraman was so startled that his hand shook, almost causing him to drop the camera.
The cameraman quickly shifted his camera away and headed toward the other members of Team A. He found Caleb crouched to the side, throwing up, while Benjamin was so weak in the knees that he almost knelt on the ground
“What’s going on? Did we eat something wrong?” Ryan asked through gritted teeth.
His lips had turned a ghastly shade of purple. His eyes rolled back as he turned around. He spat out something foul–smelling. then hastily propped himself up against a tree trunk and ran into the distance.

Ryan’s lips have turned a shade of purple. Something is amiss. Not only are they vomiting, but they also suffer from stomach pains. Could it be that something they ate earlier is the cause?
Hey, look! Isn’t that mushrooms in their leftovers? Could it be the ones they picked last night?
I heard that dead sea creatures after a tidal bore aren’t edible. I’m not sure if that’s true, though.
The netizens were buzzing with discussion. As soon as they entered the live stream, they were hooked. Their curiosity was piqued. They didn’t leave the live stream, fearing missing out on exciting events.
Over at Team A, things kept getting more outrageous. Each incident was more absurd than the last.
The cameraman sensed that something was amiss and immediately dialed Patrick’s number. As word of the incident spread, many production crew members rushed over.
Team B had just finished their meals and were chatting under the tree.
“By the way, why did you mention turning twenty yesterday? Is there some significance to it?” Nadia asked Gabrielle, her curiosity piqued.
Gabrielle was fiddling with the floral wreath in her hands. I’ve learned a lot from my mentor, but metaphysics can only be fully utilized when I turn twenty,” she replied.
“Before turning twenty, I couldn’t do fortune–telling and physiognomy, but starting today, I can, Gabrielle stated.
Her words left Jennifer astounded. She looked at Gabrielle in disbelief.
No wonder Gabrielle had brought up that matter earlier. Although Jennifer was still uncertain about Gabrielle’s words, she felt Gabrielle’s good intentions.
“Did your observation of the constellations yesterday count?” Nadia asked nervously.
Gabrielle gently rose with the floral wreath resting atop her head, She replied, “That doesn’t count.”
“Let’s go, Gabrielle said. As soon as her words fell, the others were taken aback, asking, “Where to? Aren’t we taking a break?”
“Something bad happened to Team A, Gabrielle replied.
When she finished speaking, Patrick’s phone rang. Answering the call, he looked toward Gabrielle and said, “Indeed, there seems to be a problem with Team A
He said as he started walking, and Team B promptly followed him.
Later, they saw Team A members looking deathly pale. Ryan’s lips had even taken on a purple hue. He was so weak that he collapsed on the ground.
“It must be food poisoning. Gabrielle said.
Someone from the production team stepped forward, noticing Team A’s unfinished food. The crew member said, “How could you eat this? It’s unsafe to eat the seafood left out after defrosting, and these mushrooms are poisonous.”
Chloe’s expression changed.
She glared at Gabrielle with resentment. Her teeth clenched in anger as she said, “Gabrielle, we’re poisoned now. Are you happy?”
Gabrielle hadn’t anticipated this turn of events, finding herself unexpectedly shouldering the blame.
She raised an eyebrow, standing there with a smirk on her face. Looking down at Chloe, she said, “What? Did I force you to eat it? Did I give you the rotten seafood and poisonous mushrooms?”

Meeting the peculiar gazes of everyone around her, she moved her lips slightly. Her eyes landed on the cameraman not far away. Noticing that the live broadcast was still ongoing, she quickly turned away.
Chloe was furious.
In the past, when Gabrielle was falsely accused, she would not dare to utter a word.
Now that she had grown confident, she dared to retort.
“Take some medication to induce vomiting. Due to the high tide and the unpredictable weather, we must prioritize everyone’s safety. Therefore, we’re planning to head back tomorrow morning.
“Let’s put a pause on the variety show for now. The priority is to cure people. I’ve arranged for a boat. We’ll head back tomorrow morning.” Patrick said, his forehead slick with sweat from fear.
Even though he knew the show was gaining popularity, he didn’t dare to gamble with people’s lives.
After Chloe and the other Team A members had taken the pills, they all started throwing up.
