“Sure,” Gabrielle responded immediately.
Chloe couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Y–You’re agreeing?”
On the other end of the phone, Gabrielle was silently eating her cake.

Keiran pushed the door open to engage in a hushed conversation with Jonathan. Hearing this made Chloe extremely curious.
“Gabrielle,” she hastily called out.
Hearing her sister go silent, she lifted her phone high, only to find that her signal was at full strength. However, from Gabrielle’s end, apart from the faint sound of two men speaking, there was no response.
“Are you listening, Gabrielle? You just agreed, didn’t you? Say something, Gabrielle!”

Upon hearing Jonathan’s words, Gabrielle glanced thoughtfully out the window, sensing that there was a secret behind all this. something they were not yet aware of.

“I’m full. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving,” she said softly.
In response. Jonathan slowly rose to his feet. He followed closely behind her, offering, “Do you need a lift?”
“It’s fine. I drove here myself, and Tm meeting up with someone later. As the woman headed out, the manager and the other, waitstaff lined up on both sides.
Upon seeing her and Jonathan leaving, the crew hastily bowed. “Thank you for coming, Mr. and Mrs. Zechman!”
The two walked side by side away from the scene. Chloe stared at Gabrielle, her eyes almost bloodshot with intensity, poised on the verge of rushing forward.
Bodyguards instantly stepped in front of her, forcibly pushing her aside.
“Ahhh! Why’d you push me? Gabrielle! Stop right there!” Chloe became agitated.
Upon hearing her shriek, Zachary furrowed his brows, turning to look at her.
He noticed how Chloe’s usual gentle demeanor was nowhere to be found.
Zachary felt somewhat embarrassed and turned to walk toward the car. Meanwhile, Chloe was pushed back a few steps by the bodyguards, almost stumbling to the ground.
She watched Gabrielle in conversation with the man who leaned over slightly, attentively listening to what she had to say.
Subsequently, the man gave a slight nod, watching her get into the car. Only after she was settled did he turn around to get into his Porsche.
“Arghh!” Chloe stamped her foot in frustration. She hurriedly rushed forward, watching as the Porsche drove off into the distance. She then returned to Zachary’s car, opened the door, and got in.
She swallowed repeatedly, tears welling up incessantly in her eyes
“Zach! Did you manage to find out who that man is?” she asked, her voice trembling.
She wanted to find some leverage over her sister and report to the Zechmarkfamily. That way, she wouldn’t have to lift a finger, the Zechmans would take care of Gabrielle themselves.
With that thought in mind, she pulled out her mobile phone.
The car plate said ZAB, Zachary answered, his dark eyes fixated on the Porsche’s license plate.
In response, the woman’s fingertips trembled as she held her phone, causing it to drop onto her lap.
She turned her head in slight bewilderment, her gaze landing on her brother. “What?”
It seemed as though she had guessed the truth, yet she was reluctant to admit it.
“Only the Zechman family’s car plates are this unique. The ZAB” plate is a symbol of the family head’s authority. His cars. yield to no one, and even the most prominent political figures have to give way to him,” Zachary said in a hushed tone..

“Okay.” Upon hearing her words, Zachary quickly started the car, swiftly turning around to chase after Gabrielle in the direction she had left.
Just as he was about to give chase, he saw the Porsche make a swift U–turn and hurtle directly toward them.
“Zach! Look out!” Chloe’s eyes were glued to the ZAB plate, her heart pounding uncontrollably.
Before she could regain her composure, there was a loud bang. Their car quivered from the impact before it was relentlessly forced toward a nearby utility pole by the Porsche
“No!” Chloe let out a low, desperate cry.
Out rang another loud bang as Zachary’s car brutally crashed into the pole.
The passenger side door of the car had been dented in, striking Chloe’s arm just right. Terrified, she watched the Porsche retreat and arrogantly speed off, leaving them in its dust.
Zachary was also frightened. He couldn’t believe what was happening as he turned his head to see the car window slowly rolling down.
