Gabrielle was taken aback, not expecting the rising star to be so free. It seemed to her that Nadia spent the entire day glued to her phone.

“Do you want to go to the hospital to check on Chloe!” Gabrielle asked in a hushed tone.

No sooner had shie finished speaking than she vaguely heard the sound of Nadia leaping from her bed. Before she could speak. Nadia said. “I have someone find out where she is, and come immediately to pick you up so we can go together.”
Whenever misfortune befell Chloe, she would be dying to witness it.
She was a master when it came to kicking someone when they were down.
“No need to search. She’s at the hospital. Westview General Hospital, to be precise,” Gabrielle said.
Tossing her phone aside. Nadia was changing her clothes as she spoke. “Alright, I’ll drive over to pick you up.”
“No need, we’ll meet at the hospital entrance, Gabrielle replied.

The bodyguard stood outside the door, observing the scene unfolding before him.
They quickly grabbed their phones and called Charles. “Charles, Mrs. Zechman has just left in the middle of the night Should we follow her to ensure her safety?”
“Protect her from the shadows. Don’t let her notice you, so she won’t think that Mr. Zechman is keeping an eye on her.” Charles instructed after a moment of silence.
Upon receiving his orders, the bodyguard immediately drove to catch up.
After all, just two hours ago, Zachary had come over to stir up trouble. If they hadn’t been there, he probably would have hurt

In other words, one could end up in a private room filled with big shots. One would be the only woman at the table, and some rather dirty–minded figure would demand one undress completely and lay on the dining table.
These individuals would then engaged in games like rock–paper–scissors and the like, some of which bordered on the bizarre.
What was worse was that the group of men would do unspeakable things to a woman in a private room. They would even record their actions and keep the footage, holding it over the woman as blackmail. It was a threat that could ruin her life forever
“Thankfully, his scheme didn’t succeed. He was arrested by the police as soon as he disembarked. I heard he deliberately pushed you down the mountain and even lured me into calling you out, essentially committing a crime. He’s looking at a minimum of three years in jail.

Previously, her impression of Chloe was quite positive, as everyone mentioned that the latter was a decent person.

“You might have saved me by betraying Ryan and putting him in jail but the people backing him definitely won’t let you off the hook. Gabrielle said.
Jennifer shrugged, saying, “I don’t mind. I’ve already discussed it with the company. Once I’m done recording the variety show, I’ll terminate my contract. At worst, I’ll just have to pay compensation”
“Better to start anew than to be manipulated by others,” Jennifer stated resolutely.
As Nadia listened, she gave Jennifer a thumbs up, saying, “Good on you, you’ve got some backbone. I like that.”
“By the way, why are we at the hospital? Are we here to mess with Chloe?” Jennifer asked, her curiosity piqued.

She washed her face and looked up into the mirror, noticing her complexion had turned sallow. Her eyes were lifeless, while her eye bags were prominent. Moreover, she had lost a significant amount of weight.
“What is going on? Why do I look like this?” Chloe was quite frightened.
In a rush, she held the water and splashed it onto the mirror, only to find that the face reflected in it was still her own
“It can’t be. It must be seeing things,” Chloe murmured under her breath, retreating step by step before turning to walk away
She stormed out of the room, and once outside, she approached her mother’s sickbed. Grasping Marilyn’s hand, she asked, “Mom. look at my face. Do you see anything wrong with it?”
Marilyn lay there, her broken leg throbbing with pain as night fell. Her mouth was also twisted from a fall. She was in no state to pay anyone else any attention.
“No, there’s nothing wrong with it,” Marilyn responded nonchalantly.
Whenever she spoke, saliva would trickle down the corners of her mouth, soaking her pillow through. The scent of her own saliva made her feel somewhat nauseated.
“How could there be nothing wrong! I was just looking in the mirror,” Chloe murmured sofily.
As she turned around, she saw three figures standing outside the hospital room door. Chloe’s eyes widened in surprise as she watched Gabrielle push the door open and step inside.
