“Who is that? She’s so ugly.” Nadia blinked curiously.

She scanned the hospital room, rubbing her hands together before speaking. “Wasn’t Chloe supposed to be here? Has she hidden herself away like a scared chicken? With your looks, you must be her housekeeper, right?”
Not recognized by Nadia, Chloe was left fuming. What was worse was that Nadia actually mistook her for the housekeeper.
She was so furious that her whole body was trembling, standing there as she glared at Nadia and her companions.
In the end, her gaze settled on Gabrielle. She suspected that Gabrielle was behind this. Otherwise, the latter wouldn’t have brought Jennifer and Nadia over in the middle of the night.
“Gabrielle, you did this on purpose.” Chloe clenched her fist in anger.
She glared at Gabrielle, her eyes welling up with tears of injustice that streamed down her face. She bit her lip, her heart filled with resentment.
“This voice? That’s not right. Chloe actually looks this ugly without makeup?” Nadia was somewhat taken aback.
She strode forward. positioning herself in front of Chloe. After scrutinizing her face for a moment, she quickly took a half step back and exclaimed, “Good heavens, why do you look like an old hag?”
“Ugh!” Chloe was so frustrated that she stomped her foot.
Jennifer was also somewhat bewildered, thinking she had come to witness some drama, only to find that the voice and the face of Chloe didn’t match up.
“You aren’t Chloe are you?” Jennifer asked, somewhat surprised.
She leaned in, fixing her gaze on Chloe for quite some time.
“It doesn’t look like her, yet there’s a resemblance. Seems like her makeup skills are as transformative as plastic surgery.” Jennifer whispered.
Even when everyone’s makeup was dramatic, they were still recognizable even when bare–faced. In contrast, Chloe was simply unrecognizable.
“Huh, why is there another one with a crooked mouth?” Nadia asked, just like a curious child.
She pushed Chloe away with an outstretched hand, striding forward to stand in front of the sickbed. She glanced at Marilyn, then back at Chloe, asking, “So, this is your mom?”
“Sorry, but it’s no surprise you look like this when your mom is like that.” Nadia softly chuckled.
If it were anyone else, uttering such words would undoubtedly be rude. But she wasn’t like the others. She held a grudge against Chloe, an enmity so deep that they would never share the same space.
“You” Marilyn was so infuriated that her mouth twisted even more.
Her face twitched several times, and she felt as if her nerves had been thrown out of whack by her anger.
Marilyn felt like cursing, saliva continuously dribbling from her mouth, which she hastily wiped away.
Her gaze was fixed intently on Gabrielle, only to find the latter’s eyes cold and piercing as if seeing right through her. This intense stare sent a chill down Marilyn’s spine.
“We heard you were in the hospital, so we thought we’d drop by out of concern, but we didn’t expect your mom to be so unwelcoming. Given the circumstances, we won’t impose any longer,” Cabrielle said with a soft chuckle.
She stared at Chloe, observing her sallow complexion and the changes in her facial contours.

This led to her becoming increasingly beautiful over time. However, Gabrielle managed to break the spell, causing the spellcaster to die instantly. As a result, Chloe was now experiencing a backlash.
Chloe’s voice choked up as she questioned. “Gabrielle, was it you? Why must you treat me like this? I clearly didn’t do anything wrong
Seeing her fierce demeanor, Gabrielle couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
“Did nothing? You’ve got to be kidding. You’ve done way too much. I didn’t even know Ryan before. Why would he suddenly have Jennifer invite me out in the middle of the night, even attempting to push me into the sea to drown? You can’t possibly say that all of this has nothing to do with you, can you!” Gabrielle sneered.
Chloe’s lips moved slightly. She was about to speak when she saw Cabrielle suddenly raise her hand, lightly touching her forehead.
She felt a burning sensation throughout her body, annoyance welling up within her. She lifted her eyes to look at Gabrielle, her gaze fierce and unrelenting. “Yes, it was me, she admitted.
“I was the one who manipulated him into huring you out. All he had to do was kill you, and I wouldn’t have had to compete with you anymore. But why didn’t you die? Not only did you survive, but you almost got me into trouble. Let me remind you, I am the daughter of the Seavers family! No one can take that away from me. If you dare challenge me, your only fate is utter ruin. I’ve already set everything up, and I can easily tamish your reputation just by hiring a few beggars. That way, you will no longer have the right to compete with me,” Chloe said, laughing maniacally.
No sooner had she spoken these words than she instinctively covered her mouth, only to find she had no control over it. Without thinking, her hand reached for her phone.
She wanted to fling her phone away, but her fingers accidentally dialed a set of numbers and made a call.
“Hurry up, call the beggar over. Find a few more,” Chloe said in a piercing voice.
She didn’t want to say that, but she found herself speaking subconsciously.
The hospital room fell silent in an instant. Everyone stared at Chloe in disbelief, convinced she had lost her mind.
“It’s you. You’re out to get me. Chloe realized that something was amiss.
Even if she were a fool, she couldn’t possibly utter those words. But her mouth seemed to have a mind of its own, her hands felt as if they were being manipulated. Without a second thought, she turned and darted into the bathroom.
The sound of rushing water echoed as Chloe washed her body with cold water.
However, her voice rang out continuously from the bathroom. She murmured, “Ah, this feels so good. D’mn, my body is just amazing. Come and see. My boobs are so big, and my butt is so bouncy.”
At that moment, the door to the ward was pushed open. Zachary and Felix walked in from outside, just in time to hear her words. Their faces instantly turned pale.
“Come on, hurry in and enjoy yourself. Don’t you want to admire my figure?” Chloe teased in a breathless tone.
The more she behaved in this manner, the quieter the hospital room became.
Chloe lifted her hand, slapping herself hard across the face. The pain brought her back to her senses, as she couldn’t believe she had uttered those words.
What is going on? Why am I toicing my inner thoughts?
She had always considered herself to be quite voluptuous, with a full chest and ample hips, a figure she believed no man could resist. Even when she was around her elder brother, she would intentionally sway herself seductively.
To her, these were her assets.
However, she had never voiced it out before, and now, the thoughts from deep within her had suddenly escaped her lips. At
that moment, she realized she was done for.

The shower water continuously cascaded over her body. Her dress, thoroughly drenched, clung to her form, outlining her graceful figure.
The two men stood there. Having overheard her emphasizing her ample bosom and curvaceous figure, they subconsciously swept their gazes over her.
“Ahem.” Zachary stepped forward somewhat awkwardly and turned off the shower.
Felix reached for the bathrobe nearby, draping it over her. As he lifted her up, he could feel her body against his, causing an inexplicable heat to surge through him.
