Nadia immediately raised her hand in agreement, saying, “Sounds good. Let’s get a room tonight and not go home. It’s more enjoyable to eat, drink, and chat in a room.”
“That’s true. If we were to be spotted by paparazzi outside, it could cause a stir.” Jennifer also remarked.
Gabrielle drove to Waterfront Hotel. After parking the car in the garage, she took out her ID card and directly booked a suite. Nadia was following behind her.
“I’ve ordered some pizzas and barbecue, Nadia said, subconsciously licking her lips.
Normally, when her manager was around, she wasn’t allowed to eat those things.
Just the thought of all those delicious dishes had her mouth watering uncontrollably.
“I’ve ordered some fruit and coffee,” said Jennifer after she finished placing her order.
The trio, each clutching their phones, stepped into the elevator and ascended to the seventeenth floor. Not long after they settled into the private room. the delivery person had already brought all their ordered items.
“Pizzas, barbecue, coffee, and fruits… Who could be happier than us? We must make Brendan envious. Nadia declared.
She pulled out her phone and snapped a picture before sending it to the group chat of four people.
After capturing all the delicious food in the photographs, she also took a picture of the hotel room.
Nadia sent the message that read: Superstar, you’re envious, aren’t you? The three of us are out on a date.
The next moment, Brendan’s WhatsApp call immediately popped up.
With a ring, the sound echoed throughout the room. Nadia immediately answered the call and heard Brendan saying in a displeased tone, “You bunch of traitors.”
Upon hearing that, Nadia was filled with uncontrollable laughter. “Haha!”
“You are all having a meal together. Why didn’t you invite me?” Brendan said, lowering his voice.
Nadia moved toward the coffee table with her phone in hand, pressing the speakerphone button as she picked up a fork.
“Nadia, here. Have a piece of brisket,” Gabrielle deliberately moved closer and even picked up a piece for her.
Upon seeing the situation. Jennifer immediately followed suit, leaning in to whisper, “Nadia, here! Have a chicken skewer!”
“D“mn!” Brendan couldn’t help but curse under his breath upon hearing their words. He muttered, “You guys are too much. but I won’t stoop to your level! Just remember to include me next time you go out for food and drinks”
“All right,” Nadia responded.
Just as Brendan was about to end the call, something suddenly came to mind. He said in a low voice, “I heard that the Seavers family had previously offended Father Sebastian. However, they’ve just offered a hefty sum, hoping to invite Father Sebastian to the Seavers residence?”
“Gabby, be careful. Father Sebastian is quite skilled, and the Seavers family is known for their deceitful tactics. If they were to harm you, Gabby, the consequences would be unimaginable, Brendan said in a low voice.
“I understand, Gabrielle said.
Upon hearing her voice, Brendan made sure she had heard what he just said before he hung up the phone.
Nadia casually tossed her phone aside, enjoying her barbecue while munching eating some skewers. Out of curiosity, she asked, “Gabby, what happened back at the hospital”

She went over that night with the intention of observing any changes in Chloe’s appearance. If things were as she speculated. following the old man’s death, Chloe’s true face would gradually reveal itself.
Just as she had anticipated. Chloe had indeed become less attractive, her features no longer resembling those of her past.
She wasn’t sure if Chloe knew about what had happened since her childhood, which was why she boldly touched Chloe’s forehead, eager to hear her inner thoughts.
“Gabby, how about reading my fortune?” Nadia asked, somewhat excited.
She quickly set down her fork, crossed her legs, and sat down next to Gabrielle. She leaned her face in, her eyes filled with anticipation as they focused on her. In a soft voice, she said, “Please, tell me about my love life.”
“There’ no need for me to check. You’re not exactly a lucky charm in love,” Gabrielle said with a soft chuckle.
Those words left Jennifer astounded.
She turned in surprise to look at Gabrielle and Nadia before saying, “How could that be? Nadia is beautiful and has a great figure. Plus, she’s well–liked within our circle.”
“Weren’t there rumors before, too? Many big–name celebrities were after her,” said Jennifer. How could she be said to not have luck in her love life?
“All of that is a facade. Those high–profile celebrities publicly professed their interest in pursuing her. In reality, they only wanted to get close to her, creating an illusion for outsiders that they had a good relationship with her. It was all just a ploy to attract resources. Ask her if any of these people have ever asked her out privately or invited her to dinner. I bet they never did. Moreover, she’s beautiful and has a great figure. We women acknowledge that. However, men seemed indifferent to her. Despite her beauty, she has no romantic prospects. Even her good looks couldn’t attract any suitors, Gabrielle commented
Although the words were rather blunt, they were nothing but the truth.
“Gabby, you’re really something. Besides you, I doubt anyone else would believe what I say. When I tell others that I don’t have a boyfriend and no suitors, no one believes me when I say it. This is so frustrating. Many people assume I’m secretly in a relationship! Some even think I might be secretly married, but I’m now. Now, even if a jerk came to me, I’d consider dating.” Nadia said, somewhat vexed, as she propped up her cheek.
While others were in relationships with unreliable men, she couldn’t even find a man of her own.
“Why are you in such a rush? Come and eat quickly, or it won’t taste as good later.” Gabrielle couldn’t help but chuckle at Nadia’s troubled expression.
“I want to be in a romantic relationship,” Nadia said.
Gabrielle placed the fork in Nadia’s hand and gently guided her to sit down.

Jennifer quietly savored her barbecue while sipping on her coffee.
“Gabrielle, why haven’t you created an account yet? There are so many people online who want to follow you, but they can’t find you. It’s like you’ve vanished after finishing the variety show. Why don’t you start a live stream and show your face!” Jennifer suggested in a hushed tone.
Gabrielle shook her head and said. “That’s not what I’m after.”
