Chapter 24
After I heard what Charlotte said, I felt exhausted both physically and mentally and fainted.
When I woke up, I found that Alexander had once again given my eight years of hard work to Charlotte just to make her happy. These pair of nasty werewolf couple shattered my dreams twice.
This time, I swore that I wouldn’t let anyone ruin my dream.
Suddenly, Selina’s voice sounded from behind.“Ava, what are you doing?”
“Nothing. I’ll soon graduate, so I’m thinking about tidying up my cabinet.”
I casually replied to Selina while locking my design drafts back into the cabinet. As I turned around, I noticed her staring intently at my cabinet silently. I pretended not to notice that and asked, “What’s up?”
Selina regained her composure and said, “I want to invite you to a meal and apologize to you for what happ
happened today.”
Upon hearing this. I lowered my gaze and noticed the doll keychain peeking out of her pocket. I immediately nodded and said, “We’re good friends. No need to be so formal. How about we go together to the third–floor cafeteria and have some cakes there? We used to go there often in the past.” Hearing my words, Selina happily reached out and pulled me up, smiling in agreement.

sof her eyes. She was probably mocking me in her heart, thinking that it was so easy to fool me around. I’ve realized that as long as Alexander isn’t around, I can’t hear the conversations between other werewolves and their wolves.
On the way to the cafeteria. I received a phone call from Monica. I avoided Selina and then answered the phone.

“That’s not something I can control. You live in the Pack, there’s no choice, Ava, I’ve looked at his photos. He really looks nice. His family is Ryan’s working partner, so we kind of know each other well. If you bond into their family, I be rest assured then. You know, the scandal online still has some influences, and I can’t stop feeling worried every day.”
Monica’s voice was filled with worry. I also understood her meaning, knowing that I had no choice but to go on this blind date this time.

I didn’t ask much and kept walking forward.
