Simone wasn’t joking when she said she would help Quinn study. Her actions spoke louder than her words.
Simone went to Quinn’s school every evening after dinner for a week. Since Quinn lived at school, she thought it’d be more efficient to go to him directly, giving him more time to study.
One day, Simone quickly finished her meal and was about to head out when Cyrus stopped her. “Simone, where are you going?” Cyrus furrowed his brows slightly, a trace of concern flickering across his face. Cyrus though, ‘She had been slipping off every evening for days!
Simone was changing her shoes at the entryway. Without Inoking up, she replied, “I’m going to help Quinn study.”
Cyrus paused, surprised. “You’ve been doing this every night for a week? Cyrus had an unutterable feeling-

“He’s my brother, Simone said matter–of–factly, her tone carrying a hint of warmth as she slung her bag over her shoulder.
“I’m your dad.” Cyrus murmured. But he suddenly realized the way she treated him wasn’t the same as

Cyrus had never figured it out, but now he understood. Simone had never really seen him and Graham as family because, at the beginning, they hadn’t made her feel welcome.

Simone came to Quinn’s school
She made a date with Quinn to meet in an empty room, but as she got closer to the room, she heard some commotion inside.
“Come on, get him

“Ugh, so close”
Simone pushed the door open and saw Quinn and his friends lounging on the desks, shouting at their phones.
Sering Simone coming in. Quinn and the others scrambled to their feet, hastily shoving their phones into their pockets. “S–Simone,” Quinn samunered, looking strained.
Simone just stood there, silent, her glare alone enough to make them all back off.
There was no telling what Simone was thinking, and it made Quinn even more nervous than when he’d been caught sneaking out of school
“I’m sorry,” Quinn blurted out. Guilt weighed on him so heavily he could barely breathe. He thought, I was nothing but a mess, and there was no way Simone would forgive me!
‚ it’s on us. Quinn said he had to study, but we wanted him to play with us,” Finn explained rapidly, his head hanging low. Finn thought, ‘It’s all my fault to ask Quinto play with us!
“It’s not Quinn’s fault. If anyone’s to blame, it’s us,” Alex and Timothy chimed in together.
Simone didn’t reply to them. Instead, she turned to Quinn and asked. “Is the game fun!”
Quino Instinctively nodded, and then quickly shook his head
Simone glanced at him and smiled, “Tu not teaching today. Today, we’re going out for the game.”
“Wan, are you kidding?” Quinn froze, staring at her in disbelief.
Simone said and headed for the door.
Halfway out, she turned back to Finn and the others and shouted, “You guys, come along”

With that, Simone stepped out of the classroom first.
Finn and the others exchanged worried glances, and they all turned to Quinn with desperate looks, silently asking, “What do we do now?
Quinn said nothing and walked fast to keep up with Simone. The others shared a look before hurrying to follow h
It wasn’t until they arrived at an internet cafe did Quinn realize that Simone was serious.
“Alright, guys. Find a seat, let’s get started, Simone said and took a seat in front of a computer.
Quinn’s eyes widened in surprise, and he said hesitantly. “Simone, this game is hard to master.”“”

His biggest concern was that they’d been playing this game for ages. If Simone ended up getting crushed and upset, they’d feel awful.

game.
Quinn looked at the game of Peak Showdown on the screen and asked, “Wait, how did you know we’re playing this game?”
Simone smirked and said, “I just heard the BGM when you guys got wiped out.”
Quinn scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed. “It was just a slip–up, he explained.

Quinn and the others immediately gathered around to look at Simone’s screen. Sure enough, she was just one star short of their rank.
Simone looked triumphantly at them and said, “Alright, let’s do it now”
Simone liked games, and getting recognition from them genuinely made her happy
These guys really wanted to play the game, so they all sat down at their computers quickly. After Simone added everyone to her friend list. Quinn clicked Start Game.
Peak Showdown was a 5vd shooter game. The players had to wipe out all the bosses and the enemy team before time was up.
To prevent Simone from facing the challenge alone, Quinn and the others made sure to look out for her at the beginning. A while later, they encountered a big boss..
Seeing that the boss was Level 8, Quinn and the others unmediately grew wary. When they were locating its position, a loud bang rang out. The Level & boss crumpled to the ground with a perfect headshot.
Everyone froze, their jaws almost hitting the floor. Normally, it would take them a fair amount of effort to deal with a boss like this. But Simone Inished it off in one clean shot, without a scratch
“Holy crap, you look amazing, Simone. Finn blurted out.
“One–shot kill. Looks like we’re just here for fun, Alex said with a laugh
“Nice shot,” Timothy chimed in, clearly impressed.
They stared at the screen, and everyone praised her.
Quinn hit his lip and said nothing a hint of pride in his eyes. He thought, ‘Of course, she is my sister!
Simone’s performance continued to surprise them. In this round, it was Simone who carried the whole team to victory.
They tried a few more rounds, eager to show their skills, but as always, they ended up losing, some knocked out early, others barely holding on. It
