The room erupted in chaos after the words were spoken.
“What does this mean?”
“The Gregory family and the Walker family have been close partners for years. Many of their businesses are interconnected. The Gregory family owes much of its current wealth to the Walker family. Now that their cooperation is severed, doesn’t that mean…”
“The Jenkins family is in a similar situation, right? Look at Billy’s expression… But aren’t they protected by Brody?”
Among all the people, the one closest to Brody was undoubtedly Aiden.
Brody’s face darkened, and he shouted, “Aiden, you’ve gone too far. The Jenkins and the Gregory families have been working with our family for years. You’ve just taken charge, and now you’re doing this? Don’t you worry you’ll lose the trust of other partners?”
Aiden chuckled softly, his voice low. “Lose their trust? If every partner behaves like them, then this business is one I don’t mind losing”
Brody stiffened, feeling a chill run through him as Aiden’s gaze met his. “What do you mean by that?”
Lennox, with a knowing smile, added, “Brody, I’m not sure if you’ve seen the video yet. Those two were planning something unspeakable for Valerie and Kelly. This isn’t the first time they’ve used such dirty tactics. How many victims have gone unheard? I assume, Brody, you must know about this, right?”
Brody’s stomach sank, and he immediately responded, “What are you talking about? I don’t understand.”
Was he joking?
If this kind of thing came to light, Brody’s reputation in the Walker family would be ruined, and how could he ever confront Aiden again?
Lennox, unruffled, said, “Why don’t you watch the surveillance footage first?”
Everyone in the room had already received the video, and Brody quickly pulled out his phone to watch.
The video was dark, showing two figures whispering to each other, then sneaking behind a parked Maybach.
Before long, Valerie and Kelly walked into view, and the two men seemed to stir with malicious intent, clearly targeting them.
As the video continued, Lennox bent down and picked up a spray bottle from the ground, snapping a photo of it.
Before the video was even finished, everyone had already received details about the spray: a fast–acting aphrodisiac.
Then came a list of crimes–locations, dates, and names of previous victims. The evidence was irrefutable.
Gasps filled the air.
“That’s disgusting.”
“They’ll target anyone, won’t they? These two are asking for trouble.”
“No wonder Aiden severed ties with them. If every partner had sons like these, how could any of them be trusted?”
“Good riddance.”
Billy and Alonso watched, their faces draining of color. As they processed what they saw, Alonso’s anger was gone, replaced by fear. “Aiden…

But before he could get closer, Javon kicked him away.
Kelly quickly seized the opportunity, her voice biting, “So, what you’re saying is, if you’d had the chance, you would have done everything, right?
Alonso’s pale face twisted as he shouted, “No, that’s not what I meant!”
Renata, hearing Kelly’s forceful words, scowled. “Why can’t you just let things go? You haven’t even been harmed–why stir things up?”
Valerie lifted her head from Aiden’s chest and gave Renata a cold, disdainful look.
Kelly, furious, shot back, “Since you’re so magnanimous, why don’t you test the spray’s effects yourself? See what happens, huh?”
Renata froze, instinctively glancing toward her brother. Brody’s face darkened, but he didn’t speak.
His silence made one thing clear: he wasn’t about to intervene.
Billy and Alonso were desperate now. Billy cried out, “Aiden, I know we messed up, please, let us go. We won’t do it again.”
Alonso, realizing the magnitude of his mistake, scrambled toward Kelly. “Kelly, we know we were wrong. Please, for the sake of mercy, forgive us.”
Kelly, startled, was about to react when Robert quickly stepped in, shoving Alonso aside.
Billy cried louder, “We know we’re scum, we’ll take responsibility for our actions, but my parents don’t know anything about what I’ve been doing. They’re innocent!”
Alonso, wincing in pain, added, “That’s right, Aiden. Don’t cut ties with my family. The Jenkins family and the Walker family have worked together for years. We may not have contributed much, but we’ve endured the hard work, too.”
Aiden, from his elevated position, looked down at them, almost imperceptibly moved. His voice was cold but steady, “Well, you’re right. Your families have worked together for a long time.”
Hope flickered in Alonso’s and Billy’s eyes, their faces lighting
with expectation.
Aiden’s half face disappeared into the shadows, his features softened by the dim lighting. He gave a slight smirk, his voice almost playful. “In that case, I’ll give you a chance.”
Alonso, overjoyed, said, “Thank you, Aiden. We’ll be forever grateful!”
But Billy, seeing Aiden’s inscrutable expression, grew more anxious, his voice trembling. “Aiden…”
Aiden leaned forward, his voice deliberate, “You two fight. Whoever lands the hardest blow, I’ll resume cooperation with your family. How does that
sound?”
His words were slow, almost too calm, with an underlying tone of amusement.
Billy, with a nervous laugh, forced out, “You must be joking, right?”
Aiden raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a grin as he turned to leave, holding Valerie close. “You can take it as a joke.”
Billy was about to say something else, but before he could, a powerful fist slammed into his face.
He screamed, collapsing to the ground.
Before he could react, Alonso lunged at him, fists flying.
Billy, his eyes bloodshot with anger, shouted in disbelief, “Alonso!”

Alonso, his voice breaking, gasped, “I don’t want to, but you know my family’s situation. If I go back, my father will kill me. I’m sorry..
And with that, he raised his fist again.
Billy, tom with disappointment and hurt, couldn’t hold back his tears, yelling in fury, “You bastard!”
