Aiden leaned in closer, his voice teasing. “So why the blush?”
Valerie’s cheeks burned even hotter as she instinctively leaned back, stammering, “I’m not.”
Aiden leaned in even closer, his voice low and commanding. “Look at me.”
Valerie looked up, and before she knew it, Aiden was already kissing her.
Valerie felt the softness of his lips, a barely–there spark of electricity passing between them. Her eyelids fluttered, and her heart raced.
Involuntarily, she tilted her face up, pressing her lips more firmly against his.
