Chapter 11
I was swapped out for Chloe, who ultimately helped them win the championship. My brothers stood on the podium, basking in glory, with Chloe holding the trophy, smiling blissfully among them.
Watching the game on TV felt like a dagger to my heart, leaving a wound that couldn’t heal.
“Why are you crying? This isn’t a soap opera, is it really that moving?” Jack commented drily.
I snapped back to reality, wiped my tears. I had lost control of my emotions while reminiscing about my past.
A piece of paper appeared before me, held by long, elegant fingers.
I took the paper, feeling a bit shy as I asked, “Do you play this game?”

With my past gaming experience, this was the quickest and least labor–intensive way to make money. I made a silent vow.
After the live stream, Jack glanced back at me, moving closer

As soon as I stepped out, a young man sauntered in, casually saying, “Jack, it’s rare to see you play the hero, but this girl has a bad reputation at school. She’s been getting roasted on the campus forum. Don’t let her fool you.”
Wilson leaned back, his usual aloofness replaced with a languid ease.“Why are you still here?”
curious. Why are you a doctor at this high school? You even skipped little John’s match. He was distracted and almost attacked by that kid from ch family. Tell me why, and I’ll leave.”
removed his mask and rolled up his sleeve, revealing the ugly scar.
Andrew Yates’s face darkened.“After all these years, you still haven’t moved on? That car crash wasn’t your fault! Wait… this girl… could she be―?”
