Chapter 25 I Will Get a Divorce
The car quickly drove out of the alley, leaving a trail of exhaust behind.
At that moment, a yellow Lamborghini drove in.
Ethan chewed gum and smoothly turned the steering wheel, brushing past the black car.
At the hospital, Gabriel was discussing his mother’s treatment plan with the doctor when his phone suddenly rang.
“Mr. McKenzie, it seems that Mrs. McKenzie was taken away by someone in a car.”
Gabriel furrowed his brows. “Did you check the license plate?”
“We couldn’t trace it. The car appears to be new… and it seems the person knew we were following, deliberately shaking us
off…”
Gabriel’s expression darkened instantly, his face becoming as cold as frost.
If they could have traced the license plate, it would’ve been no problem, but if it’s a new car, then the person likely wanted to avoid detection.
The assistant’s words were crystal clear.
The person behind this had power and means.
Recalling Sienna’s conversation with Chadwick earlier that day, a suspicion formed in his mind.
Just then, Sienna walked in holding a glass of water.
Gabriel asked, “Did your dad mention Eleanor?”
“What’s this about?” Sienna put the glass aside, nervously asking. “Why are you suddenly asking about my dad?”
“Eleanor was taken away in a strange car.”
Sienna quickly replied, “My dad was just asking about the cooperation. I’ve never mentioned Eleanor to him. Gabe, you were right there when I was on the phone, didn’t you hear me? I didn’t even mention Ms. Weston. Ever since you told me not to talk about Eleanor with Dad, I haven’t. He doesn’t even know you’re married
But now, whether he knew or not was uncertain.

Hearing that Eleanor was taken away, Sienna felt a sudden sense of satisfaction.
Whoever took her probably wouldn’t have good intentions.
If it was her dad who got angry, Eleanor was in deep trouble.
Her dad’s methods were infamously cruel.
The thought of the lessons her dad taught made Sienna tremble with fear.
If he could be so ruthless with his own daughter, imagine what he’d do to others.
Lowering her head, Sienna’s eyes flicked to Gabriel. Seeing that he was about to leave, she quickly called for the doctor.
The doctor and nurse entered and immediately held Gabriel down.
“Mr. McKenzie, your injury isn’t healed. You can’t leave.”
Last time, when Gabriel left secretly, it caused a night of emergency care, almost resulting in a fatality. This time, they couldn’t let him leave, no matter what.
“Gabe, you stay here and rest. I’ll go check with my dad. Don’t worry, if my dad’s the one who took Eleanor, I won’t let her 1/2
come to any harm.”
Seeing the determination in Sienna’s eyes, Gabriel stopped his movements, his deep gaze becoming even more intense.
When he stopped struggling, Sienna stood up.
She grabbed her bag and walked toward the door, dialing her phone. “Hello, Dad, is Ms. Weston there?”
“No? Oh, I see.”
She hung up the phone and turned to Gabriel. “My dad says she isn’t with him, but I know you’re worried. I’ll head home right now to check. If Ms. Weston is there, I’ll bring her out.”
She turned to leave, but Gabriel called her.
“Sienna.”
Sienna stood still, turning back with a smile. “Gabe, is there something else?”
Gabriel nodded, his brows tightening in seriousness. “If you bring her here, I’ll take her to City Hall and get a divorce.”
Though he and Eleanor had signed a divorce agreement, they hadn’t formally divorced yet.
Sienna understood that he was reassuring her.
As long as she brought Eleanor safely here, he would go through with the divorce.
The next step would, of course, be marrying her.
Sienna’s heart raced.
What had started as just a show to watch now seemed to have turned into a real plan to bring Eleanor out.
