Chapter 8 An Undeniable Proof of Infidelity
Everyone was waiting for Eleanor to speak.
Eleanor looked at Sienna, who was glaring and hiding behind Gabriel, a slight smile curving her lips. “Why should I bless the woman who interfered with my marriage?”
Her voice was slow but firm.
The noise in the room immediately quieted, and everyone stared at her in surprise.
They hadn’t expected the seemingly gentle and soft woman to speak so mercilessly.
Is she about to tear her relationship with Sienna apart right here?
“Don’t forget, Gabriel and I are legally married. We are a lawful couple!”
When she said “lawful couple,” Sienna’s face lost all color.
Talking about time and emotions didn’t matter anymore. The law recognized Gabriel’s wife as Eleanor.
At that moment, the reporters‘ curiosity burned brightly.
Some silently applauded Eleanor.
Now this is how you take down a mistress! This is so satisfying!
Gabriel looked at Eleanor, whose smile had a touch of schadenfreude. His gaze darkened.
He didn’t want to embarrass Eleanor, but he hadn’t expected to make Sienna lose her reputation.
He shot a warning glance at Eleanor, but she remained unaware, smiling brightly, teasing yet alluring. “Gabriel, we are a lawful couple, recognized by the law, right?”
Her question was both a form of evidence and a sarcastic jab.
Since their marriage was legally recognized, that made Gabriel’s relationship with Sienna an affair.
This was undeniable proof of infidelity!
“Mr. McKenzie, is what Ms. Weston said true? Were you and Ms. Sienna involved in an affair?” A bold young reporter with glasses eagerly raised his microphone, rattling off questions nonstop. “If you and Ms. Weston have no feelings for each other, then why marry her? Can you explain the reason?”
Gabriel’s face darkened completely.
Before he could speak, Sienna blurted out, “Gabriel is not the one who had an affair!”
“Ms. Weston, you were the one who suggested the divorce, right?” Sienna slowly walked toward her, her eyes filled with ambiguous meaning. “You claimed you had already found someone else and asked Mr. McKenzie to let you go. But the one who had an affair wasn’t him, it was you.”
The conversation took an unexpected turn, and the reporters‘ eyes widened in shock.
They’d always heard that wealthy couples played their own games.
If both of them were guilty of infidelity, this would be quite the spectacle.
Eleanor met Sienna’s gaze with a blank expression.
She hadn’t expected her momentary words to be twisted by Sienna, adding fuel to the fire.
With Gabriel present, there was no way she could deny what she’d said before.
Everyone was waiting for her response, including Gabriel.

Eleanor lowered her eyes, a slight smile tugging at her lips.
Not far away, a flashy luxury car came to a stop.
Ethan, cigarette dangling from his mouth, lazily rolled down the window.
Suddenly, a few reporters ran past.
“Hurry, it’s a battlefield!”
“Did you hear? Both of them were having affairs! It’s one thing for Mr. McKenzie to accept it, but his wife, who came from a poor family, was cheating too!”
These words all reached Ethan’s ears. When he heard the words “Mr. McKenzie,” his hand paused, and ash fell from his jcigarette.
He lifted his eyelids and immediately spotted Eleanor in the crowd, pushed into a corner by the reporters.
“Is it true that someone who married Mr. McKenzie still has an affair? Is there some hidden story here?”
“Ms. Weston, don’t you have anything to say?”
Faced with the reporters‘ pressing questions, Eleanor stood tall, a smile on her lips, unaffected in the least.
Even a top star wouldn’t be this calm in such a situation.
Her beauty was naturally striking, and the faint smile at the corner of her lips only added to her allure.
She looked like a delicate flower, yet there was a strength in her that made people feel for her.
Sienna watched Gabriel, who remained silent beside her, furious and biting her lip tightly.
If Gabriel hadn’t stopped her, she would have already exposed the affair between Eleanor and Ethan.
“Gabe, why are you stopping me? She was the one who cheated first…”
Gabriel glanced at her indifferently. “Groundless rumors don’t count.”
Groundless rumors? I saw it with my own eyes! Why? Why is Gabe protecting this woman so much?
Sienna’s anger
made her eyes well up with tears.
At that moment, the noise grew louder, and someone suddenly charged into the scene, shielding Eleanor.
“It’s Ethan!”
Sienna eagerly watched Ethan as he stepped in front of Eleanor, and her earlier frustration faded into excitement.
“Gabe, look, Ethan’s here!” She smiled, watching the drama unfold.
Gabriel’s gaze grew darker, his eyes cold and sharp.
Ethan stood before Eleanor, cigarette hanging from his mouth, a lazy smile on his face, exuding an almost dazzling arrogance. “What’s all this pointless chatter?”
The crowd froze for a few seconds as they saw Ethan.
Impatient, he grabbed Eleanor’s arm and whispered, “The car’s nearby, why don’t you come with me?”
Eleanor shook her head. There were too many people here. If she left with him, the news would spin even more stories

She pried his hand off and smiled. “Thanks for the offer.”
Seeing her indifferent expression, Ethan couldn’t help but feel anger flare up inside.
How could such a delicate girl be put through this by these people?
To ensure the accuracy of his test, he had already found a way to gather hair from his brother and dad. Once the test was done, it wouldn’t be long before the results came back.
His brother and dad had been disappointed too many times, so this time, he secretly ran the test without telling anyone..
If she wouldn’t leave with him, he’d have to help her somehow. If she really turned out to be his sister, he would regret not stepping in.
“Don’t forget, we’re allies,” Ethan said with a wicked smile, shouting to the reporters, “Aren’t you all curious why Gabriel married her? Well, I’ll tell you the truth!”
The reporters‘ excitement shot through the roof. They were practically bursting to get every detail from Ethan.
When he said that, Eleanor had a bad feeling. As expected, Ethan spoke the next sentence that made everyone gasp.
“Actually, all of this is to cover up my relationship with Gabriel.”
The entire room fell silent.
Eleanor’s mouth dropped open slightly.
Sienna’s eyes went wide with disbelief.
And Gabriel’s face could only be described as pitch–black.
As for his relationship with Ethan, the crowd had already started to piece it together in their heads.
Look at Gabriel, then look at Ethan.
What a dazzling pair…
They always said that wealthy families were messy, but no one expected it to be this chaotic!
Eleanor never imagined Ethan would say such a shocking thing. He truly lived up to his wild, reckless persona.
This statement immediately turned the reporters‘ attention to Gabriel and Ethan.
Not wanting to disappoint Ethan’s good intentions, Eleanor finally managed to escape, leaving without looking back.
Gabriel’s gaze turned to ice.
He had originally planned to suppress the news by tonight, but thanks to Ethan, this news could no longer be contained.
The next morning, Eleanor saw yesterday’s news on her phone.
Compared to the exposure of Gabriel and Ethan’s relationship, no one criticized her. In fact, more comments sympathized with her.
Ethan’s move had completely reversed the situation.
At that moment, her phone suddenly rang.
