I looked over at Lucas taking a call on the balcony.
Suddenly, I felt reluctant to leave. I had known Lucas first, after all. I was his wife. Why should I give him up to another woman?

So I spent two blissful hours snuggled up to Lucas, picking out designs.
As he played with my hair, Lucas casually asked, “What were you going to say earlier?”
My heart skipped a beat.

That night while Lucas was in the shower, I sprawled on the bed scrolling through Twitter.

I clicked into the comments section, bracing myself to be drowned in insults. To my surprise, the comments were shockingly different.
“Rich wife, please adopt me! I want cuddles and sugar!”

“I love Mrs. Quinn so much, but I’m broke. I can’t compete with Lucas Quinn.”

Confused by the change in tone online, I clicked on Lucas’s Twitter profile.
Although Lucas had made our marriage public, he’d never revealed my identity to protect my privacy.
Most of his tweets were reposts from the company account. But this afternoon, he’d posted something:
