I looked into his eyes and every fibre in my body believed what he said but it was still extremely hard to admit it out loud

I whisper, he let out a sharp growl, my body tensing at the noise. I clench my eyes closed, taking a deep breath to calm my racing heart.
Suddenly the noise stops and his hands land on my back, calming me once again

When I’m done sobbing like a big baby he lifts my chin and he places a gentle kiss against my lips.
“Ok lilly I need you to lay back so I can check you over”

The doctor says, pulling me from my thoughts. I smile laying back as he comes to my side, my mate who’s name was still a mystery glares at him.
He watches as he lifts my top to check my body, my mates eyes widen as he gasps looking to the doctor and back to me. He checks me over, shining lights in my eyes, tapping my reflexes and checking the wound on my head.
“Other than a concussion and a lot of bruising your body has somehow healed. I’m not sure how but it has”
He starts writing stuff down on a chart
“If you promise to take it easy I don’t see why y you can’t take her home today?”
