Chapter 14
Drake slams him against the table behind dad’s body, the people jump away squealing, half of the crowd watch in terror as the other half seem to agree with him.
Dads body is like a rag doll as he takes the full force of the hit, drakes grasp on his neck tightens
“You will die for what you have done to her, but it won’t be here, it won’t be fast. No I’m going to kill you slowly and I’m going to enjoy every little bit of it”
He slams him against the table again, hard, my fathers eyes rolling in his head as he’s knocked out immediately. He drops him like a bag of potatoes as he hurdles towards the floor. He stands up, straightening out his shirt and he looks to mark

“Yes alpha”
d up with wolfsbane rope, gaged and taken straight home to the cellar
Mark smirks, grabbing dad and he yanks him out of the dinning room, drake turns to me, giving me a warm smile as he takes my trembling head in his hands,
I gasp as his touch immediately starts to calm me
“You don’t need to be scared anymore lilly, I won’t ever let him hurt you again”
He steps closer, so I throw my arms around his neck, burying my head in his chest. He scoops me up, sitting back down as he holds me until i stop shaking.

I whisper as I pull away, he kisses my lips softly pulling back
“I have waited a long time for you lilly, I’m never letting you go again. And nobody will ever hurt you now that your with me”
smile, resting my head against his chest as waitresses arrive laying platters of food out everywhere
“I didnt know what you liked so I asked for a little of everything”
Fiona tells me chuckling at the sheer volume of food that had arrived. shrug pulling stuff onto my plate
“Sounds amazing”
I grin, then a thought occurred to me
“So Matt’s your head trainer right?”
I ask them
“You know Matt?”
Ben asks, I shake my head
“Not really but he’s mated to my best friend Emma. I can’t believe we ended up in the same pack it’s amazing”
I grin
“We haven’t met her yet, Matt’s unsure if he wants to move into the packhouse so we only see him at training”
“Maybe lilly will help make up their mind”
Drake suggests I shrug
“I’m just happy I get to see her everyday, I don’t care if she l
lives with us. Hang on you have your head trainer live with you?”

I know in most packs the ranked members live with the alpha but to include the trainer was rate
“Yeah, we all have our own apartment in a shared house, my parents decided they didn’t want to o live in free if they choose to use it”

Layla muses listening in.
We talk through breakfast then drake carries me to his room, nerve tangle in my stomach. All I wanted to do was rip his damn clothes off him and lick every damn inch of his body, but how would my body react to that? What if flashbacks from my father hits me when we actually go down that road?
“We won’t, we will feel his touch and dknow we are safe”
Layla tells
me calmly as he places me on the countertop in the bathroom, he turns starting the bath, adding oils, bubble bath and preparing the shampoo and conditioner.

I take a breath, trying to relax as he turns. He wore a hright smile on his face as he stands in between my legs, resting his head against mine.
“You look stressed”
I chew my lip nervously
“Yeah, I’m just not very experienced, actually I’m not experienced atol”
He frowns, lifting my chin up
“And you think that’s a bad thing?”
I shrug not sure how to answer
“Lilly do you not realise how amazing g it is to have a mate who has never touched another”
A shiver of disgust shoots down my spine, the taste in my mouth souring at the thought of my father.
