Chapter 21
It takes a few hours but as I slip on the dress and look at myself in the mirror I’m floored by what I see.
I wore a long sleeved floor length mermaid gown, the neckline coming the whole way up to my throat and the sleeves coming the whole way down to my fingers, held firmly in place by a peace of elastic that wrapped around my middle finger.
The black material was a rich velvet blend, it was probably the most expensive thing I’ve ever worn before in my life. Even though the back zipped up it still held a corset like support, helping my body blend seamlessly
On each shoulder held a cluster of crystals, giving me added shape to my body. The fishtail design gave the allusion that I was taller than I really was.
My hair was blown out, cut in layers down to my breasts, one side pinned back with a crystal clasp behind my ear, the rest pushed back and wavy falling over my shoulders.
My face was flawless, if I didn’t know I was covered in bruises I would have never guessed.
My eyes looked bright and alive, a little eyeliner smudged into a wing with my own long lashes coated in mascara made them wide and lawake.
A subtle contour pulled my face in in all the right places, making me look older, my eyebrows were natural with a little gel holding them in place.
My lips were scarlet red, buffed out with some liner, making them look bigger than normal. My cheeks held just a slight red blush, it was subtle but it was there. I looked airbrushed and flawless, I honestly looked beautiful.
On my feet I wore strapped black sandals, giving me a boost in hight
“I hate to say he was right but damn was he right”
Layla says, whistling and winking at me,
“He really bloody was right wasn’t he”
“Let’s not tell him, make him feel guilty a little longer. I can tell he’s a cocky fucker”
I chuckle at Layla’s attitude, she really hated to be proven wrong but this time I’d take one for the team. I looked hot.
Fiona wore a red strappy silk dress, leaving little to the imagination but she did look beautiful. Her black glossy hair was half up half down, on her eyes was a smoky black shadow, her lips were a nude colour. Paired with black sandals on her feet she looked hot as hell.
“Damn Luna you look amazing
I roll my eyes
“Call me lilly please, and speak for yourself you look hot”
She
e grins, pulling her phone out and she throws it to mikie
“Take some pictures of us before the boys come find us”
I grin, actually feeling confident enough to pose for photos. He snaps a few before excusing himself as fiona fills us a few glasses of champagne.
“Cheers”
We clink and drink, I was so excited to get to know her better, I hope we can actually be friends and not just Luna and beta.
So how’s mated life?”
She asks, I grin

“Amazing! Like really fucking amazing“
She smirks
“Alpha is a sweetheart, once he trust and loves you, you will always have a friend in him, he will always have your back”
I smile
“Sounds like you know what your talking about”
She nods
“Yep, we all grew up together, we were always friends then it turned out me and Ben were mates. It just sort of fell into place after that”
I smile
“What was he like before me? Emma said he’s scary? I don’t see it but maybe that’s the mate bond?”
She nods her head, her eyes widening
“Yep, to everyone but us he’s probably terrifying but he has to be. He’s got the biggest pack in the world, he had people come from all over to challenge him when he took over, so he became to scary to challenge and it works.”
I purge my lips nodding my head
“It makes sense
