Chapter 22
I answer just then I hear the door click. I grin standing up and dusting my dress off. Drake and the boys come in laughing but all of them stop as they spot us.
Drakes face falling, his eyes lighting up as he trails his eyes down my body slowly, his mouth opening and closing as he takes me in.

He comes to me, grabbing my hips and he lifts me up, my hands grasping his shoulders as he plants a gentle kiss on my lips.

He growls, kissing me again, it was soft and gentle but it packed a punch of love as it flows through the bond catching me right in the heart.

Fiona scolds, he glares at her as I giggle, he pecks my lips one last time then he sets me back on my feet.
“We are late anyway, you guys ready?”
I hand fiona my phone
“First I need a picture”
I grin, he smiles, hugging me as we pose for a tew. Then we leave heading down to the ballroom, Clenching my fists the whole way down, my stomach rolls as my anxiety rises.

My chest was heavy as I try to take calming breaths but nomatter what I did my anxiety just wouldn’t calm down.
As we arrive a busboy passes us, drake grabs 2 glasses of amber liquid and he hands them both to me

I down the first one, cringing as it hits my throat. I clear my throat and take the other then I take breath

I tell him seriously, he hands the busboy–back both glasses and he lifts another 2. 1 sink them too, cringing at the taste but finally feeling a Itle more relaxed.
“Come on, it’s no big deal”
He reassures me, I nod taking his outstretched hand and I let him lead the way.
As the doors to the ballroom open, we step through and out to the front step. The place was packed full of horny noisy wolves, easily thousands stood below us but as they spot drake it’s like a ripple effect, one after the other the place goes quiet and every single eye in the place

I whisper, even he looks a little taken back by there reaction
“I promise this has never happened before*
He says quietly, I take another breath and I pull him along
“Come on the faster we get down there the faster we ain’t standing here”
He smirks taking my hand and taking the leal, but as we step onto the floor everyone steps out of our path, it was like a wave, they moved as we naved.
“Seriously drake is your fly down or something? What the fuck is there deal”
He clears his throat awkwardly as my alpha and lama step out from the crowd nervously. The Luna was baring her neck, her anxiety bounced of every person around us.
It hit me right then and there that my life would never be the same again. People would always be looking at us like this, no matter where we go or what we do.
“Alpha how do you do, you know my mate Helen?”
Drake nods at her as my alpha looks to me
“Lilly you look beautiful, it’s good to see you out. Look,”
He sighs looking at me sadly
“Lilly I’m so sorry 1 had no idea what was going on!
