Two days later. Amrita contacted Skylar and asked to meet because she already had a candidate house for Skylar to choose from.
The three houses shown by Amrita, all caught Skylar’s attention. She was confused about making a choice, because all the criteria she wanted were met in the three houses.

She was friendly, attentive, and always paid attention to the little things and focused on customer satisfaction, that was the key to her achievement and Skylar had marked Amrita as one of her potential allies in the company.

Her face flushed with joy when Skylar said that she trusted Anirita’s taste and choice so she didn’t feel the need to look around first.
Skylar stopped by the small coffee shop behind the office, to order an Americano and her favorite cheese croissant, before heading to the office. She hadn’t had coffee since morning and now her head was hurting. She had only had spicy wontons and Chrysant tea when she met Amrita earlier and it wasn’t enough.
The aroma of double shot Americano and warm cheese made Skylar’s mouth water.
She sat on a chair near the window that faced the alley, While sipping the coffee in her cup, she stared at the back of her tall company building. The partially open windows brought faint sounds out.
The humming sound of the photocopier, the sound of the printer, the sound of conversation, even the sound of shoes hitting the floor

She felt that the responsibility was too heavy for her to bear, but she also couldn’t close her eyes. After seeing how Gerry and Jenna behaved, the company might collapse in the next one or liwo years if they were left alone.

Skylar promised to return as soon as possible after tidying up some things here. She had a big responsibility in the company that was initially sponsored by Anthony.

David smiled sadly. “I just want to talk, Sky. I need to talk to you. Please!”
Skylar saw several pairs of eyes from other visitors looking at them. Skylar hated being the center of attention, so she finally pointed to the chair in from of her.
“Sat down. You have a minute before I go to the office. Hurry up and don’t beat around the bush Skylar said Ermly.
David pulled up a chair in front of Skylar’s desk and smiled happily. After dozens of unanswered messages, unanswered calls, and a berce attitude, Skylar was finally willing to talk to him.
“First of all, Sky, you should know that I bought this coffee shop. So, whenever you want to come here, you are free to get anything you want here,” David said with a proud tone in his voice. “I just finished the transaction yesterday afternoon”
Skylar’s brow furrowed. “I see. So what the?”
David was disappointed because Skylar showed no sign of interest in what he was saying

Skylar cursed under her breath. She knew this was coming, but it shouldn’t have been now
