David’s brow was already furrowed several level when Jenna came. He folded his arms across his chest and glared at Jenna who was pulling out her chair, annoyed
“What took you so long? I have a meeting with my staff at the office and I don’t have much time. You always ask me to–”
Jenna hit the table with her fist. Her eyes glared at David.
“Come on, David, Jenna interrupted in annoyance. “I’m really upset, no need for you to add to your nagging. I miss y other for almost a week. You’ve also been hard to contact lately. Now, when I’m going to see you, she’s driving me crazy!”
David was silent, listening to Jenna’s ramblings that poured out like a cannon.

David’s heart sank. He knew that the twins and Anthony had come here. His hired detective was monitoring them, but for three days he hadn’t received any reports from the hired detective because the man was sick and asked for temporary leave.
David felt annoyed because he was blind to the activities of the people he was investigating, but he could not do anything because it was impossible to hire a new detective, and he also could not force the detective he hired to krep working.
Hearing Jenna’s words, that meant Skylar, her children, and possibly Anthony were also at this mall.

He showed as if he was upset about what happened to Jenna.
“And is he with that guy! Bernard? They ganged up on you? If so, then I have to tell them off. It’s really unfair, because you’re all alone.”
Jenna looked at David with mixed feelings, between happy, suspicious, and also doubtful
Since Skylar came back and she was with her children, she had started to feel insecure about David. She didn’t know what was on his mind, but her lover’s behavior lately made her even more worriedl
She felt that David was starting to distance himself a litle from her, even several times the man just disappeared, meaning, he couldn’t be contacted at all and also didn’t give her any news

David had no reason to refuse and he didn’t want to make a scene either because he knew Jenna would be suspicious and ask all sorts of questions about his behavior lately, if he refissed.
Jenna, where are you going! You haven’t ordered food,” David said. “Why are you thinking all these things about me?”
He reached for Jenna’s hand, but unexpectedly, she slapped it away. David’s forehead automatically furrowed.
Jenna was a very clingy and spoiled woman, especially when there were other women around her. She was also jealous and possessive
Seeing her attitude now, it made David confused. He reached out once more and when he managed to grab Jenna’s hand, he held it tightly-
“Come on, sit down and eat. I miss you too and our busy schedules lately have made it difficult for us to meet often. Your business with Skylar and her kids, don’t let it ruin our mood towards each other, David said softly. “Come on, baby, sit down.”
Jenna pouted, but this time she didn’t refuse and obeyed David, sitting back in her chair.
However, her attitude became cold and quiet, as if she was thinking about something heavy and couldn’t share it with David.
David felt bad. He didn’t want to make Jenna angry because her suspicions were right, that David actually only wanted to meet Skylar and wasn’t really defending Jenna, but he was also worried about missing a good opportunity to meet Skylar, complete with her kids.
David needed to observe the two boys up close, so he could make sure that they were really his flesh and blood.
Although from the photos he had he could already be sure that there were some similarities between himself and the two boys, but it was only a glimpse and not very convincing either.
Maybe, if he could face them directly, he could see more clearly and be sure,
“What do you want to do after this?” David asked as he poured red wine into Jenna’s glass.
Jenna raised her hand, refusing the wine. “I can’t drink. I have to drive and need to focus”
David’s eyebrows rose. It was umistal for Jenna to refuse red wine. “Where are you going? What are you going to do?”
“I have to meet a client,” Jenna said in a complaining tone. “Skylar made me send souvenirs from the hotel and apologize in person to a disappointed hotel customer and then she wrote a bad review on the company website Annoying!“”
“She made you do that?” David asked in surprise. He never expected Skylar to ask Jenna to do such things.
David reached out and touched Jenna’s land on the table.
Jenna, do you want me to accompany you? You definitely don’t like doing things like that, right?” David said in an understanding tone.
Jenna took a deep breath. “No need. I’ll do it and show that jerk that she won’t be able to push me around. Besides, David, this is nothing. I’m sure she’ll be even more rampant later, taking revenge on me by using the power she now has in her hands.”
“Does your father know about this David asked carefully.
“He’s actually in a worse state. Jenna sent bien around Southeast Asia to do staff control directly, and not just via Skype like he usually does. My mother is angry because my father hasn’t been home for two weeks Jenna said. Her voice was sad and tired.

“Be careful, David, Jenna said. Tm sure she’ll start bothering you soon. Don’t play around and try to charm her just to get out of trouble. I’ll be very upset if you do that. You have to obey me, because even if you don’t love me anymore, you still owe me your life.
David looked at Jenna who i smiling arrogantly at him.
“Jesus, baby,” David said annoyed. “Can’t you stop being suspicious and doubting me? Even though Skylar was the one who seduced me and insisted on getting back together with me, you should know that I only love you, regardless of the fact that I owe you my life.”
Jenna shrugged nonchalantly. She knew that bringing up the rescue to David in the past was the best weapon to silence the man.
“Let’s go, Jenna said. “I’m pressed for time. My secretary is already panicking and saying that she needs a picture of me handing over the package from the hotel and apologizing to that damn client, so she can put together a report to give to Skylar later.”
David shook his head, then followed Jenna. He grabbed Jenna’s waist and hugged her tightly as they walked to the parking lot.
“Are you sure you don’t need me to accompany you?” David asked once more, when Jenna was already behind the wheel.
“No need. You go straight back to your office,” Jenna said firmly. “Don’t even try to find Skylar!”

David bent down and kissed Jenna’s lips passionately. For a moment they kissed with David looking down through Jenna’s car window,
“David, about the debt you owe the hotel, please do it soon,” Jenna said, after their kiss broke and she was ready to leave Skylar will check on it again and this time she will be with the audit team.”
David was a little annoyed because Jenna brought up the subject. “Yes, yes. I will definitely discuss it with the company’s finance department soon. Don’t worry too much, Jenna, I won’t make things difficult for you either.”
David hit the back of his neck which felt sore as Jenna left.
He went back into the mall, intending to look for Skylar and her children, in case they were still in the mall. He had to meet them immediately.
Then, as he got out of the elevator on the third floor, in front of a large toy store, he saw them.
