Lindsey walked out of the hospital feeling relaxed.
As soon as I reached the door, I saw that familiar car had not left yet. I immediately walked up and asked, “Why haven’t you left yet? Didn’t I say you don’t have to wait for me?”
“Get on the car first, Emanuel glanced at her through the car window.”
Lindsey was not being pretentious either. It was so late and there was a car available, so why not take it? But as soon as she got in the car, she felt trapped. The man’s alluring scent wafted into her nostrils.
