Ace had told her that he would talk to Aiden. But that was about Emily’s protection from her family. Not about Aiden and Celine. There wasn’t anything he could do to help Celine, and Celine knew this…..
Aiden also didn’t give Celine the chance to plot or carry out any plans as he assigned maids to bathe her and get her ready for him. Ensuring she has no weapons or tricks hidden up her sleeves.
Celine stood in the middle of Aiden’s room, frozen as she felt her skin crawl under his gaze. It was really happening. She was here, at his mercy. He was going to take from her. The same way it all started in her
past life.
First, he took her virginity, and that provided him with access to her soul. After taking that, he took everything else away from her including her will to live.
She felt tears prick her eyes as Aiden walked up to her, and she refused to look up at him.
“You look… Beautiful. “He whispered as he buried his nose in her hair and took a deep breath.

She could feel it, but she fought against it. She was standing at the crossroads of desire and vengeance. Furthermore, she was meant to hate Aiden with all her heart and be eagerly awaiting his downfall. But standing here and now, she had to keep forcing her mind to remember the hatred.

He pulled away and looked her in her eyes.

She watched as he suddenly collapsed to the ground, and she gasped.
