Chapter 1

My husband, Antonio Kaufman, lost his memory. Six years ago, I worked 20 hours every day to pay his tuition.
Yet after he got his memory back, Antonio and his mistress, Blanche Clarke, killed me with deadly poison.
Later, I was reborn. To avoid the same tragic ending, I decided to ask Antonio’s mom, Ramona Kaufman, for 3 million dollars as compensation before I left.

Ramona was surprised when I told her my decision.
“Antonio has just won the national gold award. And you’re leaving?
“He’s only forgotten you for a month. You’ve been through this before. Why did you give up this time?”
Everyone knew Antonio was the love of my life. Even though he had forgotten me completely, I still wanted to
marry him.
But it turned out Antonio faked his memory loss twice. I only found out when I got poisoned in the basement.
The first time, Antonio lied to get me to make money for his hand maintenance and piano lessons. I had no choice but to set up a street stall.
The second time, he lied to dump me so he could be with his childhood sweetheart, Blanche.
Antonio thought I was in the way of their love, so he locked me in the
0.00%
basement and made me swallow a whole pack of deadly poison.
I answered Ramona, my voice calm, “I’ll leave in three days. Don’t bring this up to Antonio.”
Since Antonio didn’t want to admit I was part of his life, I might as well just leave without saying goodbye.
Ramona hesitated for a moment, then accepted my decision.
After all, she knew better than anyone how Antonio despised me after he went back to Breguadale.
Finally, we reached a consensus. I took out my laptop to start preparing my application materials for Cluale University in Speynia.
After running into Antonio on the street, I dropped out of college and set up a fried–food street stall in my hometown just to support him.
Back then, Antonio pretended to lose his memory. To make sure he could focus on learning the piano, I took care of everything.
I worked on the streets twenty hours a day, and everyone called me a lovesick idiot for keeping a freeloader.
When I went back to the Kaufman’s place with Antonio after he “regained” his memories, he said the greasy smell on me was disgusting. So he installed thirty air purifiers at home to get rid of it.
In front of everyone, he ridiculed me, “The air stinks with you here, gosh!”
Antonio never allowed me to eat with him. I could only eat alone in the kitchen.
Even my daughter didn’t take me seriously. She called Blanche “Mom” and learned the violin from her.

Blanche announced officially online to take my daughter as her first
student.
In the end, my daughter thought I stole Blanche’s role and wanted to officially acknowledge Blanche as her mom. So she bought a pack of deadly poison and forced me to take it.
She even recorded the whole thing and watched me die while I struggled in pain.
Luckily, I had been reborn.
This time, I’d never give up my life for anyone.
